I moved from New York City to Lugano Switzerland in 2017. What a complete culture shock BUT for the best way possible. In NYC Everyday I'd hear swearing and see violence. The 1st 6 months in Lugano it was quiet and unbelievably SAFE. Not once did I see violence or hear anyone swear in any language. Also it's so clean and the food in Switzerland is different. How you ask? I'm not sure but ALL of the Americans Ive known come here lose about 20 pounds in their 1st year here. The food isn't overly processed crap. It tastes so good. My one complaint about Lugano is your surrounded by the richest people on the planet. The billionaires are pushing out the millionaires. Honestly though I can see why people like Audrey Hepburn and Vladimir Putin have Holmes here. It's beautiful and safe.

I have visited Lugano a few years ago and it seems like it hasn't changed at all since I've been there. It looks so beautiful and mesmerizing, as always :) I would like to visit it again someday :)

@MCMXCVIII LOL. 😁 Neither. We have 9 rescued cats that need attention which limits being away for more than 4 hours at a time. So, until a Transporter Device is invented, I have to settle for RU-vid videos. I love the scenery of Switzerland.

@MCMXCVIII You are correct. We do have some beautiful countryside. Actually northern Switzerland looked a lot like our PA farmlands. If I lived in Switzerland, I would settle in the northern part and frequently ride the trains to the Alps for holidays.

Beautiful city. I can't wait to enjoy the freedom to visit. But I have one genuine question for the people of Lugano. In the video there are a lot of big shops. How do they survive? Why would anybody pay Swiss prices when Italy with much cheaper shops is so near?

What a beautiful town and what a beautiful lake. Everybody dresses so badly: flipflops, trainers, shorts, T shirts. The pedestrians dress as if they're broke but that's not a cheap country; so, they couldn't be broke.

@@Weekend_Swiss I didn't notice anything wrong with the lens, so I'm not sure what he's referring to. One small suggestion, if I may: I've noticed that very often when you cut from one shot to another the sound is muted for a few frames. Perhaps it is something that your editing software is doing without you realizing it, but it makes the cut rather jarring. It didn't happen consistently in this video; some cuts were smooth while others had the jarring gap in the sound. See if you can find out why it is doing this, so that you can cut both the video and audio smoothly from one shot to the next. Loved seeing the Italian part of Switzerland! I would like to take my wife there. I like Switzerland and she likes Italy! 🙂🇺🇸❤️🇨🇭
