Enjoying the first figs off our tree for the season and learning to cook a regional specialty of Italy. We explore an amazing abandoned farm house on a hike at sunset. Enjoy Ebonie and Martin
You’ve really embraced the Italian way, good on you! It’s such a pleasure to see a more relaxed way of presenting like you’re doing and clearly you’re both very happy with your lifestyle. Certainly very different to living in any big town in Australia.
I'm a new subscriber and I'm mesmerized by your videos. The colors, the architecture, the nature, the cooking, your dogs and just your everyday life are magical. I'm so happy I found your channel.
A beautiful abandoned farm with so many unique features! I could totally see this being the place where you two could transform it into your dream home , workshop and have the land to grow veggies and keep your bees and animals ! Will you buy it ??!
Would be amazing to own such a place but it’s too big for us and not for sale I don’t think. Also historical properties in Italy are so very difficult and expensive to renovate but we might find something smaller and just as lovely hopefully for farming one day soon 🙂
Oh how good that food looks :) and wanted to congratulate them for nice pictures and movies, what colors.. everything looks great with the evening sun and the old buildning how great tio. Greetings!! :)
beautiful! you can feel the breath of time when looking at these pictures ........ this property must have been beautiful once, all these frescoes and.................
How can everything you two make look so good?! No matter it is a concrete table, a painting on the wall or an aperitivo with focaccia..it look always amazing 😍. You are so inspiring. Thanks!!
Ah, how ruins hold the charm and mistery of the past ! ( Could they originate from X -XII century ??) I so appreciate the moody way you photograf that creates such an air of mistery. Many thanks to you.
We are never not fascinated by these places! We tried to research more about it but couldn’t find much information. So sad to see it fall into ruin! In it’s time it must of been simply magnificent
Halo saya dari papua indonesia saya melihat kalian sangat lelah luangkan waktu sejenak untuk beristirahat semoga hari kalian sangat mengesankan terima kasih
I will definately try the focaccia...looks easy enough and I'm sure tastes divine!! As for the abandoned farmhouse, I can only imagine how beautiful it once was in the day, the structure is so unusual with its star vaulted ceilings...absolutely stunning!! Thank you for another lovely video.
That would be such a cool idea! Group of people could buy it and create a lovely farming community!! Ideal use of such a huggggeee and beautiful place!
Wow! What a property. It must have been glorious in its time. This would be an incredible project, I hope in time someone takes this on. Thanks for sharing this experience 😊
Must have been seriously something, heartbreaking to see it crumbling. Huge project, someone with a lot of time and money would be needed. If I had the money I’d save them all just for heritage sake.
That grey sky full of che* trails and that "burning" sun... It has been like that these past days in all Mediterranean region. Great video as always...!
I sometimes get that feeling when I see the burnt out rooms, but I think they do it for insurance money. I’m very sensitive to energy and the place was actually very peaceful 😊 but we did get a few spooks from birds flying out of hidden spots when we were there as it was soooo quiet
Gente que beleza de lugar sua casa e muito inspiradora seu quintal e um encanto sou do interior de Minas Gerais no Brasil e nós também temos apreço por um quintal cheio de plantas mas o seu e lindissimo parece de filme amei to maratonado
I'm 18 and a homosexual. Thinking of the conservative society im living in... your videos and the lifestyle, it would be the one, i would want to live with my partner. A simple and very peaceful one ❤
You would surely be welcomed in many places in Italy including Puglia. Take the steps while you are still young, that’s what we did, saving our money and working on ourselves learning to be happy with less materialistic things and unimportant distractions. Day by day you can move towards your goals of living a more simple and peaceful life 😊🌹
Our property wasn't for sale either! We jsut asked around and turns out the owners and their kids didn't actually want it any more. Took us four years to finalise the purchse though, so theres that! @@Maisondebase
Buonasera. That's a big masseria! Didn't really get to see anything above the ground floor. Probably not safe. I thought that last piece of music might be Grigg at first but then I looked in the description. I never heard of the guy. I'll look him up. Is he Spanish? Loved that last piece. Ciao
Awesome....I'm sure you could make it unique with your handycraft and exclusive design ideas. Was it a really a farm. Looks like a fortress...beauuuutiful but also would be a daunting undertaking❤
Yes it was a farm of a noble family, many people would have lived there including staff and multiple family members. It’s a historical building and not for sale as far as we know. definitely not something we will be taking on, just very fascinating to see it. Historical properties in Italy are VERY challenging and time consuming to renovate due to permits and permissions needed but many different parties. Hence why many remain abandoned
Good heavens! If I had money to throw away I'd restore a place like that just for the sake of preserving it. Wouldn't it make a great artists' retreat? And though I am a vegetarian, prosciutto used to be one of my favourite things and I love figs...so that lunch looked delicious!
Urgh gosh I know! It breaks my heart to see them crumble into ruin, this one was so stunning but we know how difficult and expensive and time consuming saving them is, it’s a real shame.
I was using my imagination as to conversations & life that took place at that abandoned farmhouse! Thank u from 🇨🇦 ❤ do u know the age of this farmhouse?
I've been to Recco, and that focaccia is SO good! Thanks for showing us how to make it, not to mention showing us so much of the beauty of Italy. I just found your channel recently, and your videos are so lovely, so calming.
@@Maisondebase Sooo many things came into my minds eye about a B&B, that gorgeous huge court yard and all those vaults and arches... could be exquisite!
