At first I was going to make each section a seperate video, but then I decided to group them all in one video so you can refer to it in future. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I’ve seen pro players use boxer backstep launcher in their combos and it made me go back to lost judgment to learn it, been a bit slow but I’m determined to get it down, thank you again, you have no idea how helpful this was to me.

Thanks for this man, ive missed LJ after playing Gaiden and after finishing it i can say LJ is still superior in terms of combat. Sure it has its flaws but both are equally fun in my opinion, and this tutorial could encourage me continuing my Lost Judgment no damaging videos, thanks for this Tea!
Incredible analysis, the type of video I always wish for but too intimidated by how depth this game has to even try to make it. I think "Crane Falling Technique" is similar to Beast Style in Yakuza 0 where you let an enemy destroy a held weapon to trigger certain moves/heat actions without actually needing to take damage.

Truly the best guide for LJ out of any RGG game for the combat thank you for the goated video But question, everything else is quite simple but the one to me that's the hardest tech out of them all is the Snake grab escape leapfrog, been practicing that for literal hours and never been able to get it any ideas if you have any?
Thank you, regarding the front leapfrog you need to be quick and it's one of few ways to do it, the other way is perform front Tiger dodge roll right after Snake parry then hold R1 to lock-on(it changes your direction facing the boss) but it's more complicated than the one I showed. Eventually you'll get it with practice and precision.
@@xtealover799 Oh yeah luckily that one was pretty easy, of course you may not know but you can also crane dodge towards them after the parry and quickly spam the A or X button to do the front leap, I'm just asking cause I was hoping to throw in some mods and I don't think it's possible to do the roll with the Kuwana parry
@@curlyaccidente3583 that's nice I didn't know about the Crane dodge have enough time, no need to spam X to leapfrog btw just hold it and will do the job for you. Wish you the best with mod! True Kuwana parry not enough, but you can do Kuwana grab escape like Yagami much easier as far as I know.
@@xtealover799 was actually testing with the Kuwana moveset overhaul and yeah it's a million times easier, course I feel like it may be the frame rate for a my laptop too as that trick require precise framing and with the massive stutters my laptop has even at 60fps its still hard but thank you
I'm only a few hours into LJ, so a lot of the skills mentioned in this videos are still locked behind the skill tree. I think I'll try to implement these techniques on my second playthrough. I tried the 360° tiger reversal attacks, but it's really hard for me to pull off. Nevertheless, I'll keep trying. Thanks so much for this thorough and informative video.
You're welcome, definitely take all the time you need to enjoy the game on your first playthrough first. I advice to avoid purchasing Health Upgrades for replayability and any Attack Upgrades from the Stats menu, this will make the tutorial worthwhile to you. The game by default makes you deal decent amount of damage and it offers a lot of gears that increases/decreases your base attack.
@@xtealover799 Haha, I did exactly what you suggested. And I'm also using increase encounter HP mod to make sure that I can get enough practice out of random mobs. When I played Judgment, I bought all the attack and HP upgrades that I can get, and game wasn't challenging for me. This time, I'm not making that mistake again.

Platinum for this game ain't hard just need time to grind. All I can is play the game casually and finish up all school stories clubs while progressing through story, order everything on menu with all eatery shops(Ijinncho & Kamurocho), check and complete the town go progress tasks from time to time, find all Squirrel location during Chapter 5 and complete all side cases then eventually you'll have the platinum.

I would say Crane sky dancer launcher is the best one to use whether after perfectly dodging or relaunching during Juzo stand up animation, also other ways can be with Crane Taunting Launcher if he is close to walls or after performing Snake parry 🙏

really informative, i never knew about the crane falling techs and the parry cancel and the wall jump parry cancel still can stun enemies in the air like that?
It can be difficult to do snake parry cancel on other enemies, but it does work on any who hit fast as soon as you're close to them like Boxer enemies. As far as I know, Juzo Amon first phase is the easiest to do this trick.
Hi!! I just wanted to ask if the tiger reversal attacks thing could also be done with kiryu's moveset (kiryu styles mod and the verdict of the dragon mod)
I would say just practice it little by little without juggle so you can understand the amount of pull you gotta do in your stick. Shouldn't be too much of tilt, try walking back for a start and hit light attack before Yagami fully turns.

For the Tiger reversal overhead kick, I can’t land the two heavy attacks after the light attacks. I can do the double backhand but every time I do the kick it goes completely backwards instead of targeting the enemy like in the video. Any tips would be appreciated.
You gotta aim the left stick close to the boss legs after the double backhands not completely far from enemy otherwise it wont connect. You using Crane SST combo right for the reversals?

Yes but not entirely the case, Boxer style does make juggling and setups easier true but Crane and Tiger also have their way around to juggle covered in "Launcher Setups". In my latest tutorials I covered how to do ground combos which can help with juggles so you might want to check it.
@@xtealover799 just a little bit concerned on some players who don’t have boxer style. I have paid DLC at early because of there is the new fighting style and it’s worth for me to buy it. After I’ve finished LJ, boxer style is too strong for me and would love to try Judgment training session (can’t use boxer style) sometimes, I’ve off boxer style when I’m going through the mainlines.
@@xtealover799 I know tiger style in charging attack can beat the boss so hard and they will fall on the ground. Turn into crane style press square+square+triangle can also make the juggle again. I recommend you can try to use Yagami fights Kiryu. Recently, I see many Chinese players are using the mod that Kiryu is being a big boss, he can heal himself in phase 1. In phase 2, he can use tiger drop and fight faster.
@@00rain70 Boxer is more than worth it if the player love the game combat and want to expand upon it. Also I think it's so OP to turn it off from setting but that is up to you haha. Anyway, hope you'll learn from this video
Something has to be said about a games combat where you can be 70 hours in and still locked into the easiest difficulty because you just dont get how the combat is actually meant to be
Very late comment but these days I’m practicing this technique and you have any advice for tiger overhead kick? Especially 59:53 I understood how to use tiger reversal attack while using juggle combo but I can’t land that awesome overhead reversal kick. (I succeeded this only one time…) Ofc I’m trying reversal spinning attack after crane sst combo and mostly overhead kick goes completely backwards instead of landing enemy. Maybe it’s a problem about position or camera. Could you give me any advice? Thanks in advance!
What up Pius? np, I haven't logged in the game for some time now actually. Yes, about the sst overhead reverse kick you gotta aim the left stick towards the enemy legs or lower body, if you aim the overhead kick far from enemy body then you'll miss the hit. My advice is to test different angles with left stick after performing ss reversal fists(this what I did when learning this), it's possible with any camera angle position too as long you adjust to it. Hope this help!
Download Lost Judgment Fling trainer from the official website and turn on 'One Hit Kills' to clear the remaining bosses and leave one alive, then turn off the 'One Hit Kills' so you can practice 🙌
I’m trying to find the part in the video where you can infinite grab bosses by parrying their get up attack but I can’t find it, can someone find it for me?
I use the middle one, but you don't have problem without juggles yes? I could suggest to try after switching styles so that you can have more time at your hands and slowly becomes muscule memory.

I'll try that. the reason why I'm asking this is because in your video 34:48 and 35:28, after switching to tiger and crane, it seems like that you do the light attack and switch off ex-boost at the same time. I was wondering what's the input here. Do you have to press R2 and square at the same time?
Hey, thanks for the video! It was very helpful! But could you, or anyone help me with something? my juggle mechanic seems to be broken for some reason Bosses start hitting an invisible roof that drops them from juggle every time i try to launch them, this is happening since the boss fight on chapter 8 (I'm currently on chapter 10). Did my save got corrupted? am I missing any mechanic? I posted a video with the bug. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it! Sorry for asking this here, but you seem to know a lot about the game and there's not much content of judgment out there.
Np thanks for watching! the juggle drop glitch happens randomly but rarely for high launchers and mostly for normal launcher like STT crane combo. Unfortunately the only way to fix it is by reloading save again. I'm gonna guess you experienced the juggle drop during tesso 2nd boss fight? it did happen the most for me.

@@roygreed probably, we'll have to wait and see! If it's anything like Judgment where you can do longer ground and juggle combos against bosses then it will be sick too rather than just focusing on one combo system imo.
Dude can you help me? i cant really do any juggle even simpler ones? the enemy just won float? did i have a diff settings on steam that can adjust or something? even the float + kick wont follow up to juggle every time i switch style the enemy is already on the ground? wtf? even launchers. do i have a game bug or does mods affects physics? mind you i can juggle pretty easily on judgement so i cant fucking understand why cant i juggle in this game. NOT A SINGLE ONE!
Hey, so which type of launchers you oftenly use and facing the juggle drops? There is a glitch in the game that makes the enemy immediately drops when trying to launch or juggle, but rarely happen to high launcher like Boxer S>T>C and mostly can be seen with normal launcher like Crane S>T >T combo. Unfortunately restarting the game fix juggle drop issue if it's presist, especially if it's the high launcher that you're facing issue with. Make sure you are playing on 60FPS setting and not suffering any huge frame drops or slow performance
