The big one. Kuwana by far is the most in-depth boss in the series i believe, only maybe Soma being behind him. They really knocked these main boss movesets out of the park and this is shaping up to maybe be my favorite boss in the series. My only problem with his fight is how some attacks don't have great tells (elbow strike in particular), but i guess that's what you get for making a moveset that mirrors the players. By the way, i love the little intro i made for this one, it took more time than compiling the video itself. I'm usually a perfectionist about these types of things, and i'm happy with how this one turned out. Anyway don't expect me to upload frequently from now on at all, RU-vid is just a hobby for me and i'll upload if i have any cool ideas. I'm not like snowman where i can pump a video out every week lol. So until then, see ya!

What makes Kuwana so good in my opinion is the fact that he _feels_ like a playable character; he has all of the options Yagami does. Even moves that in other games would be player-exclusive like Sky Dancer and the Flow parry. If he could juggle you it'd be the closest thing to Yakuza PvP outside of just outright implementing PvP.

Yeah something I love about yakuza bosses, especially more important ones, is that they PLAY like a playable character (part of why moveset swapping is so popular), bosses will usually have dash attacks or parries, even heat actions sometimes and it just makes it feel all the more dynamic

@@glodrug7172 Exactly! Shibusawa was cool because he had rush, beast, and brawler but Mine is high up there for me since he can freely switch between the styles he has instead of pre-determined phases that only change based on health.

Kuwana is also one of the most well written characters in the series.

Okay so, I got bored and tried to implement Kuwana's moveset into a potential playable fighting style. I like it how Kuwana takes Yagami's moves and either completely copies them or tries to turn them into something else Also please keep making the boss moveset videos i love them so much

Glad you like them :) sadly I wouldn’t know who to make it on, I only thought it was a cool idea due to how complex Lost Judgment’s boss movesets weirdly were. Maaaybe if I get Some heavily demanded bosses to do a video on I’ll make another

There's also Arai, Kido, Uighur, Baiken/Gorohachi, Minami, Daigo, Aizawa, Watase/Awano, Kanai, Katsuya/Kengo, Baba/Hayashi, Yuta, Nagumo, Targa, Tamashiro, Hamazaki, Saito, Kuze/Kasai/Mashiko, Marume, Jagi, Wei Han Lee, Someya, Rei, Nishitani, Oda, Thouzer, Andre/Koga/Arase, Kuroiwa, Nadai, Yahata/Okabe/Hamura, Shibusawa, Yama-Oroshi (AKA, the giant bear), Kojiro, Nishiki, Ozaki, Hangman/Sakakiba, Seijuuro, Kazama/Kashiwagi, Manabe, Shioya, Mine, Toki, Ryuji, Kenmochi, Midorikawa, Lau ka Long, Gion Toji, Shin, Morinaga, Kubota, Kugihara, Rikiya + Ricky Mask, Ibrahimovic, Kan Ogita, Itosai/Hasebe, Higashi, Mr. Shakedown/Shimano, and Raoh. You also didn't even do Tesso yet, so I think you should do that next.

This video is so sick. Also you’re objectively right about Kuwana being the best boss in the series honestly. Very rarely has a boss made me go “holy shit WHAT” when they did an attack, and Kuwana did it all 3 of his fights.

Y'know, it makes me think. I wonder why they didn't give him Tiger's charged attacks? It's kind of hard to notice that he even uses tiger in his fights. I think Kuwana's only attack that has Tiger's red aura is his 7 hit combo.

Mine is the best boss. Think about it: he is the only boss in entire franchise, who can freely swap styles at will. Not just merge them together, but switch between them.

He does not have shibusawa’s moveset, but I can see how you’d think that, they look pretty similar. The final boss of the DLC does actually use shibusawa though

I love Kuwana as a character and his themes, but am I the only one who felt like he was too easy? His 1st fight made me actually level up for the first time in the game, and his 2nd one I had to retry a few times, but by the time you've upgraded all of your abilities the 3rd fight felt the easiest by far, with Soma 2 being much more difficult in my experience.
