Also the one part of the video where you talked about the reviewers perfectly sums up why I hate reviewers. Because a lot of the time, they don’t even put that much time into the combat system to try to understand it. Instead they just talk out of their ass and are being dishonest giving people the wrong impression. Which misinforms them causing them to not get an otherwise great game. This is exactly why I don’t listen to reviewers and just go with my gut no matter what game it is. It’s best to think for yourself when it comes to buying games. A lot of times, these reviewers are just flat out wrong.

Great vid as usual, tho I wanna say real quick that you should definitely go through the story again at a less breakneck pace sometime. You were rushing and it made you get a ton of story things off, probably why you don’t like it as much too. Like Hoshino isn’t a duck he’s just picked on by Saori (a bit too much), Higashi isn’t just a cameo but gets some decent development and is used about as much and as well as Sugiura, Tsukumo, and almost even Kaito, the setup is a lot more grounded and not goofy than you mentioned, and most importantly Kuwana didn’t and isn’t killing any kids. Idk how you got that, but everyone he targeted was someone who was an adult and either staying just as bad or getting worse. No kids were harmed (by Kuwana) in the making of this game lmao But yea, definitely go back and take your time at some point. The story and characters are some of the best in the series, and Kuwana is probably one of the best antagonists there is too. You’ll probably be able to appreciate a lot more now that you’re not constantly rushing around and stuff :)

About the thing on extracts being too OP, you couldn’t be more right. I was doing the final boss with Kuwana and I used the warriors onslaught one. It instantly disintegrated his health bar and sent him into phase 2 lol.

I really don't think repeated boss fighting styles is that big of a deal. Making tons of unique fighting styles every game is probably pretty tough, besides just because it's a reused moveset doesn't make it any easier to fight. And I doubt a majority of people will even realize these are repeated movesets.

The stance is so out there, looking like it's copying off a move from the Bodyguard job in Yakuza 7. And the bat is being used like a Katana as well. *Jin Kuwana:* I love him, best character in the series. His moveset is essentially a deviant of Yagami's which is integrating 3 styles into one. 4 different auras for his 4 styles. Also the final boss theme is created by the person who did two themes I like. Shinada's battle theme and Y6's Final boss theme, very different moods.
