Aimlessly Wandering & The Bass Farmers go back in time...
Bassheads are without a doubt the best community of people in the music scene - prove me wrong. And there's one festival that unites them all for a weekend full of dirt and headbanging. I'm of course talking about Excision's Lost Lands.
After 21 years of attending Festivals, nothing compares to the community at Lost Lands. While it becomes more mainstream every year, the culture remains in tact and has proved to be one of the most welcoming places I've ever been. To sum up the experience of Lost Lands, it's not only full of the friendliest people who just want to throwdown together but no matter who you run into, they are almost guaranteed to match your energy while also having an abundance of trinkets to trade.
A friend of mine said that festivals are the equivalent to playing outside with our friends as kids, but as adults. You want to make new friends? Go up to anyone and give them a toy, they probably have one to give you. Hug it out, throw down and now you're friends for life.
It's places like Lost Lands that remind me there are truly good people everywhere and it's easier to make friends than you think.
