Nokis are actually in Mario Kart 8. They're background characters in both the Water Park and Coconut Mall tracks Chunky Kong also recently physically appeared in the new Mario movie much to everyone that spotted him's surprise Xp
Pine from Yoshi’s Safari isn’t the only Prince in Mario games. -Mallow from Super Mario RPG -Peasley from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga -Pikante from Super Mario Galaxy 2 -Dreambert from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team -Florian from Super Mario Bros Wonder There are also princes from other media: -Haru from Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyūshutsu Dai Sakusen! -Andre from the Super Mario Bros. Side-Story game book. Both of them were engaged to Peach.
Haru (in the anime movie) and Darian (in "Super Mario Bros. Wonder") may actually be versions of the exact SAME character, between two differing subdimensions; as for the *Sonic* megaseries, I say the same for Archie's Dr. Finitivus and Fleetway's Dr. Zachary - Dr. Zachary Finitivus.
I really wish they’d bring back Tumble. Why? So Toad can be playable in Mario Party games again. Besides, Tumble fits more as a host because he fits the general gist of Mario Party to a tee.
Only reason Toad wasn't playable in MP Superstars was cuz the game was basically a remake of Mario party 1-3 but still he needs to be brought back and the sun and moon could easily be back
I guess it would be cool if MP had an exclusive character. Some thought Tumble was too cute/kiddy though. Granted MP has always been a bit more kiddy and carefree then most Mario games. (Super Mario RPG and Odyssey have some edgy stuff in them.)
Other forgotten characters: -Stanley from DK3 -Foreman Spike from Wrecking Crew -The bosses form Wario’s Woods -Ōsama and his commander from BS Super Mario USA
Thing to note about Donkey Kong Jr.: while the timeline seems to differ depending on the era of Nintendo, the main consensus nowadays is that Donkey Kong from the arcade game has grown older to be the character who is now called Cranky Kong. Cranky Kong's son is Donkey Kong Jr., who is actually the father of the present Donkey Kong. So had Donkey Kong Jr. been present in Double Dash, he would have been a child racing along with the adult version of his son. Weird.
And according to some sources, Donkey Kong is Cranky Kong's son, implying that Donkey Kong Jr. is not at all forgotten and is the most famous of the Kongs.
People have said that Jumpman in the original Mario games is Mario’s father, and Pauline(from that game, and not the current Pauline) is his mother. And they have also said that Donkey Kong Jr from those games grows up to be present day Donkey Kong
Actually according to the dk lore The classic dk is the current cranky kong and the dk Jr is the sob of the classic dk, which means that dk Jr is the father of the current dk
Hey, fun fact! MC Ballyhoo's design makes a lot more sense when you realize he was designed by Masanori Sato, the character artist for the Mario & Luigi series!
Should’ve brought up all of the Paper Mario characters as he brought up Star Spirits. All the partners, enemies, Toad variations, even Twink. Plus Mario RPG Mallow, Geno, & more. And of course, Mario & Luigi RPG’s.
Okay, that was an interesting video. I just have some notes: • Baby Wario appeared again in the mobile game Dr. Mario World. • Like everyone else has said, the Noki appear in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the background of Coconut Mall. • I want the human golf and tennis characters characters back. It's been said that Azalea from Mario Golf Toadstool Tour GBA is related to Daisy in some way. • The story with DK Jr. is that he's the son of the original Donkey Kong from the NES and Arcade games (Cranky Kong). Other sources say that the current DK (Donkey Kong Country onward) is DK Jr.'s son, making him Cranky Kong's grandson. Honestly, it's complicated, and either Nintendo or Rare has to clear it up for us. • Super Team was a team built by Bowser to obliterate Mario and the other captains and teams. Probably revenge for not making him playable and essentially making him an item to use in-game.
I WAITED THE WHOLE VIDEO JUST FOR PERRY THE PARASOL TO GET 30 SECONDS OF RECOGNITION?!?!?! 😭😭😭 His story in Super Princess Peach made me cry as a little girl, my heart was so broken for him!!!! His story is quite similar in surprising/shocking sadness as Rosalina's in Mario Galaxy!! Im so sad he was never brought back in any sort of way, I thought he made am excellent companion! Kind of like an extremely intelligent Yoshi, in terms of his game mechanics!
@@Darknova67he was in the remakes in All-stars, Advance, and Link's Awakening. Also had a spirit in Smash. And yes that was him in "Link" seeing as "Mamu" is his Japanese name.
@@TheBindseilFamily The game released. It was playable. The character was official and in the game. Doesn’t matter if the game was discontinued or whatever… It’s a recent game. It’s the reappearance of the character.
Wart actually might be a dream creature since the only other time he is seen is in the Legend of Zelda link’s awakening he appears this time as mamu a frog idol of sorts but uses the same design as wart. he teaches you the frog song of soul which can bring alive long dead things. But oddly enough it’s later revealed link’s awakening is a dream link is sharing with the wind fish meaning the only times wart appears is in dreams hence me leading to believe he is a dream creature
Technically Donkey Kong Jr still exists. He’s just the modern version of Donkey Kong. With Cranky Kong being the original Donkey Kong that Mario fought.
There are quite a few errors with this video. Noki's were in Mario Kart 8 Ukiki is literally in a majority of the Mario Party series Baby Wario returned in Dr. Mario World Wart was in Link's Awakening Tumble was in 2 Mario Party games, 3 and Advance.
The JSON data you've provided appears to represent the information of a node within a flowchart-based application like Flowlab, which is a tool designed for creating various kinds of interactive diagrams and games. This specific JSON snippet describes an "Achievement" node with details regarding its graphical position, as well as some other properties, such as its unique identifier and fade effect properties. However, your snippet is just a part of a larger JSON structure that may represent a more complex flowchart or game logic. To fully interact with or manipulate this data within an application like Flowlab, you would need the full context of how this node fits into the overall flowchart and any other nodes or links that might be involved. Here's a breakdown of the properties that are part of this node's information: behavior : This indicates that this node is a part of the game flow's logic. v : It looks like this could be a version or version control property of the node. nodes : This is the array of nodes. In this case, there's only one node, and it's the "Achievement" node. inputCount : This refers to the number of inputs or start points for the node. outputCount : This refers to the number of outputs or end points for the node. name : "Achievement" is the displayed name for the node. behaviorType : This describes the type of node, specifically a game flow achievement. x and y : These coordinates represent the position of the node on a two-dimensional plane, potentially in a flowchart editor. group , id , and theme : These provide additional identifiers and metadata for the node and the current context. fade : This is a boolean flag that, when set to true , may control a visual effect on the node, possibly a fading effect. xPos and yPos : These coordinates could be used to position the node on the screen. aid : It's unclear what this stands for, but it may be related to the application's unique ID for the node or a related asset. To properly use this data within an application, you'd need to pair it with the other information that would define how this node is connected to other nodes and what actions it might perform within the game logic. Is there a specific operation you wish to perform with this data? If so, please provide additional details, and I'll help you as best as I can.
Fun fact: Mario Party 6 and 8 both have those party leaders that are exclusive to that game and not based off of a character that already appears many times in the Mario series.
14:22 The Prince of the bean bean kingdom in Mario and Luigi Superstar saga is the Prince I remember in any Mario game. I didn't see you even mention the Mario and Luigi games. There are a lot of characters in that that you missed out on
Wart did make a return but not in a Mario game. He was in The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening, which was, spoiler alert, all just a dream. Also, a misconception is that Donkey Kong Jr is NOT the son of Donkey Kong, but is the son of Cranky Kong. Donkey Kong Jr is the father of the Donkey Kong from the Donkey Kong Country series.
- Could the "Super Team" from "Mario Strikers" actually be from the reality of "Sonic the Hedgehog"? could they have been built by Dr. Eggman? - How many licks _does_ it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop? The world may never know...
I saw you dancing in a crowded room, You look so happy when im not with you, but then you saw me caught you by suprise, a single tear drop falling from your eye. I dont know why, iiii run away, i don't know why, iiii run away. You could've asked me why i broke your heart, you could've told me that you fell apart, but you're miss me like i wasn't there, and just pretended that you didn't care. I don't know why, iiii run away, i don't know why, iiii run away. Take me back cause i wanna staaaaaaaaaeey, save you're tears for another, save.. your.. tears for another day, save.. your.. tears for another day. Made you think that i would always stay, I said some things that i should never say, yet i broke your heart like someone did to mine and now you'n love me for a second, time. I dont know why, iiii run away, i don't know why, iiii run away. Go take me back cause i wanna staaaaaaaaaeey, save you're tears for another, i realized that im much to laaaaaaaaaaate, and you deserve someone better, save your tears for another day, save your tears for another day, i dont know why... i run away... i dont know why... i run away... save your tears for another day, save your tears for another daaaaaaaaeaaeeeeeeeeaaeaeaeeeaaaaeeeeeeeeiiiieeeeeyyyyyyyy!!! Save your tears for another day, save your tears for another day.
What’s funny is that Wart came back in link’s awakening, a Zelda game of all things. But link’s awakening is also a dream, which could make him some emperor of dreams or something cool like that
I feel like Ukiki has actually been pretty well remembered, considering they're the defacto small monkey creatures when the Kongs aren't around, and have even made a number of appearances in the Mario party Games
Actually, Donkey Kong Jr. is canonically the modern Donkey Kong. His father was the one we see in the original Donkey Kong series in the arcade and on the NES. No, this isn't a headcanon, this is canon.
Half of these aren't even obscure. A lot of people know about Wart and Tatanga, they just haven't reappeared much. And, while Hoot isn't as popular, Ukiki is the most well known monkey species in the Mario franchise (excluding Kongs). Not to mention that everyone and their mother knows Toadsworth.
I remember all DK characters, and I love Kiddy and Chunky, I miss this guys. And I played the Amiibo challenge, very cool but I have just Diddy and Luigi Amiibos :(
Dk jr is actually the son of Cranky Kong. Cranky was the original Donkey Kong in the original Donkey Kong game back when Mario was saving Pauline before Peach.
Wart is a peculiar case, as Mario 2 is just a reskin of a japanese only game called doki doki panic technically NONE of the enemies there are mario games persay, but part of the doki doki panic pantheon, birdo and shyguys were IMPLEMENTED into the mario universe later on, but they were not mario characters in the beggining.
I remember the Noki's. Outside Noki Bay, they appeared in, Gelato Beach, Pinna Park, and Sierna Beach. The old man noki is tied to one of the biggest Super Mario Sunshine mysteries, the book. His grandson is memorable by association, and the momma and baby noki are cute. There's also another raccoon appears in Noki Bay.
Fun fact, Cranky Kong is the original Donkey Kong from the Arcade games. So technically Yoshi’s Island DS isn’t canon, at least in DKC lore. Since Mario is in the original DK Arcade game. How I would make both YIDS and the DKC lore canon to Mario lore, is to just establish that Cranky was still the original DK. But Gorillas in the Marioverse look young until they hit an age where their body starts to rapidly weaken as if they were rapidly aging. Which is what happened to Cranky at some point during the early SMB games and prior to DKC. Maybe establish that Cranky also had two children or that you don’t have to be a biological father/mother for a stork to bring you a baby. Allowing DKC’s DK to be delivered after Mario. And maybe at some age DK would get grand children from a stork. Establishing “grand child” to not have the exact same definitions as us. Or again, establish Cranky having a child before DK Jr.. And that child is what led to the stork delivering Baby DK. At some point, the first child disappears as DKC’s DK grew up. While DK Jr. was still hanging around. And maybe after the first Mario Kart, DK Jr. decided to move away to have his own adventures. Leaving just Og DK and DKC’s DK. Also, around the time the Donkey Kong trilogy on Arcade and the GB game took place, is when Mario vs. Donkey Kong took place.
Did you know that suns design kind of looks like Brightons design so suns design might be based on Brightons design and if you don’t know who sun is it’s a sun animatronic that turns into a evil moon animatronic when the lights turn off
Hey I know some characters you forgot in Mario hoops 3 on 3/Mario slam basketball (A basketball spin off for the 3ds) 5 characters appear one is Moogle Ninja White Mage Black and Cactuar they all originated from final fantasy but they all made many appearances in many Mario sports games
About Ukiki, it's weird that the monkey hat thief doesn't return when Klepto, the vulture hat thief that was also first seen in Mario 64, made a comeback in Mario Odyssey
The reason we don't see Donkey Kong Jr. is because he's DK's father! In case you don't know (so just Infinite Bits), the Donkey Kong from the arcade game is actually Cranky Kong, DK's full legal name is Donkey Kong the third.
I would argue other forgettable characters are firebrand and thunderhand, they are like Brighton and twila's bean versions and are the ones who teach fire hand and thunder hand to mario and luigi, they might not be as forgettable, but give it 10 more years and no one will remember
Tatanga and Wart need to come back as villains Wart would've fit well in Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Tatanga would've fit very well in Super Mario Galaxy
When you think about it, Donkey Kong jr is the son of Cranky Kong, making DKJ the father of Donkey kong (I think). Or maybe DKJ is a young modern DK Also, since Cranky Kong is the original DK that Mario fought, that makes Baby DK a the baby version of Cranky Kong
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the most important forgotten Mario character, bowser’s brother. He was in the lost levels which is a mainline game. It’s insane bowser has a brother that only showed up in one game and no one talks about it
