Absolutely! From this video alone, Lost Soul Aside is exactly what Final Fantasy XV should have been on its release. Heck, the main antagonistic faction, judging from what this video shows us, instantly reminds me a lot of Nilfheim, only a more sci-fi version, with their Magitek-like automatons. To even add more similarities, the blond guy that Kazer, the main protagonist, fights reminds us of Ravus from his Versus XIII days when he had access to supernatural powers, only this time the blond clone of Ravus has access to the Lucis Caelum's armiger abilities that Regis and Noctis possess. Out of all the Chinese-made titles that Sony's PlayStation Hero Project has supported, Lost Soul Aside has instantly caught my attention. I cannot wait for a release date, and I will be purchasing this bad boy on Day 1 of its release.
I swear, this better not be a disappointment. 😭 Everything looks so good and what I want in a modern hack and slash. And most importantly, the rare title that actually strays from soulslike and follows more of the spectacle fighter sub-genre.
How was the combat quality / depth compared to ninja gaiden 2 and dmc5? Also, do you know if there will be any more skills besides the ones shown in the demo?
I think it would be a good game, but the standards for NG and DMC in terms of combat systems are too strict. After all, this is only the first game produced by this production team, and there are many aspects that should be quite inexperienced
Combining final fantasy, Devil May Cry and other big over the top games to make a character with the craziest skillset ever (though unfortunately again elemental based, I'm so sick and tired of elemental based abilities instead of raw arcane power)
Ahh im gonna love this game i can already tell lol. Even if it doesnt have a New game + mode im replaying this at least 100 times and going for crazy combos lol it might as well be DMC6 for me
Never it’s been 8YRS already and all Ying Bing has said just recently was more info later that could literally mean next year or 2026 just for news, not even release. 👀
