@@brysonturner4028 it's funny you said that lol I'm turning 21 tomorrow, December 1st. Maybe it was freshman? Maybe sophomore. One of those. I just remember my English teacher was super annoying. SparkNotes and videos like this were my best friend 😭. I love everything about English EXCEPT the forced boring books lol. If you're reading this book for school, I hope it's going smoothly lol
listening to this on 1.5 speed because I only have like 2 hours to finish this book. honestly I hated this book so much that I physically could not read it. I have 2 hours until my Honors English class. This is one of the worst books I've ever read, not going to lie.
While I wouldn't say I hate it, I definitely dislike it and find it extremely difficult to read. The book is literally 90% filler and/or buzzwords that lengthens it and makes it more difficult to differentiate between metaphor and reality. I wouldn't have minded all that if the pace wasn't extremely slow and boring.

I have a timed essay tomorrow, you are a lifesaver. Also why the hell does this guy spend half the book talking about the island, the book could be so much shorter if he kept it to chapters 1 and 2.
I hate the fact that I’m on a “college level” yet somehow this book manages to throw me off like someone please help me. I understand that your not supposed to take it at face value and it’s about society but for some reason it hasn’t been clicking with me is this normal or am I broken?
guys legit watch the first movie of this and then read these at 2x speed legit helps so much and u understand what going on. dont watch the 2nd movie bcuz its useless
