There is a guy who made remake of this game, which allow you to get ORIGINAL,patchable BFME, but working without CD. You can even swap soundtrack in there! Go to forshire.blogspot.com/ and try it. But beware, it takes a helluva long to download some of those ISO.

This game was my childhood. The film too. Shit now it's on the TV and the music they used is so epic. Reminds me of the beautiful moments from my childhood. Shit the nostalgia is real. I don't even know if it's a good or bad thing. Beautiful but makes me sad cause I know these times I played it with my dad sometimes will never be back just like him.

Why the hell this game not availbile for the xbox one consoles??? It was for the 360 and not for the xbox one? Thumps downnnn 4 that i loved this game. Hopefully they bring Lotr bfme the rise of the witch king edition to the new consoles this year.

A few months ago I was in GameStop getting a Xbox one game and just saw this game(xbox360) in the on sale bin and said what the hell I like lotr lol had no idea what I was getting turned out that I stumbled upon a hidden gem. Game is awesome! it’s old a little out of date but I still play this game all the time. I just wish I found this sooner so I could play online but still great game!

I think this map was ripped from BFME 1 and modified to be a skirmish map. That would make horns a hard coded piece, which is spaghetti code. I mean you dont bloody hardcode horns to fit event, you add them into the events attack trigger :O
Dream War I love the fixed building system and almost everyone else does too. That’s why they implemented it. Have the factions of BFME 2 with the glorious building spots of BFME 1.
Tips. Frist you meant spread your unit out. Second get sword men. Put them on ground floor. Archer on top of tje main gate not one loads. Archer all round the base walls. Then u have archer outside on the rear left. I played this games for years and not lost a battle
that game is my life i like the first one the most just because it felt more realistic like the trolls are hard to kill unless you have archers and the Mûmakil are hard to kill unless you have fire all that stuff but the second one and last i like because it add more variety such as more heroes and units but it just dont feel the same still love the games though haha xD
use your scroller on your mouse.... or do you have the same problem i got? When i play this game, it's really zoomed in, even if i chance the resolution.. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
It's a setting on the map file. Usually patches fix this. I think by default it's 300 or something like that (really zoomed in), but to zoom out you'll have to set it higher like 400 or 500 using the world builder. Maybe even 600. (Edit>Map Settings>Max Height) For stock maps, you'll have to extract them with FinalBIG before editing with worldbuilder.
i have 3 copies of the first one 2 copies for the second and same for the last one but sadly only one of each disc works because the rest are just scratched and they sell for a lot xD
you are not really good :) but its good to see that people still playing this game. best game of my life :( we were playing this game all day. you should make faramir for archers (they are strongest and taking levels faster when faramir with them) and you dont have so much place so dont make archer place you can get archers that build at corner of your inner walls. that archers are cheaper and same with yours. and make rohirrims with eomer-theoden they are almost immortal like that. especialy when theoden gets level 5. and last advice always take morwen. she is the most broken hero in this game even more then galadriel.
Patrick Simeri buckland was nice and shire also. but we have to play at mordor always because that was the only 8 person map and we was always at least 8 people :D yes bfme 2 definetly most wonderful game for all time. but electronik arts sold their rights about this game so i dont think there will be a new games :(
