For all you beginners, What do you want covered for the next video? Deed log?, Quest log?, Character panel? Something else? Let me know and I'll make it happen.
Hey boss man, I just wanted to echo what others have said and thank you for the excellent crafting video. I'm alt+tabbed out of the game right now in the Combe crafting hall watching your content to get a feel for what I'm getting into, and I appreciate your effort. I'm an extraordinarily casual MMO player (I pick one up once every couple of years and mostly treat it like virtual tourism), so having this stuff laid out so clearly and concisely is exactly what I need. It's a credit to your skills as an editor and a presenter. Keep it up!
This video has EXTREMELY high production value considering you have under 200 subs, DAMN! Very informative and pleasant to watch video, I see real effort put to into this. Keep it up! 💪
What a truly excellent video, Captain. There is an obvious amount effort throughout that is surely a gift to any new players with need for this kind of information. Makes me happy to see we're still going strong with LOTRO in 2022. I hope you end up with more followers under your belt for the quality of production.
Another thing to add to this guide: Save your lotro points that you earn in game and you can buy crafting stations and vendors for your house. I got a farming plot for my hobbit hole and I now exclusively farm in my village. Saves a lot of time
I started playing the game almost a week ago now. Picked Elf Minstrel and went with the Explorer trio and been sorta making my own gear as I went. It's a fun time!
excellent guide, would have been really helpful 10 years ago when I first started lol..honestly though anyone getting into Lotro , this is an excellent overview of crafting.
I'm downloading the game now....it does take a long time. 😆 Thanks for the content, keep the videos coming please!! Also thank you for your service to our country!! Your a true hero in my book.
Great video!! As a new player to LOTRO, the production quality and explanation was fantastic. With that being said, it physically pains me that they changed the system a few months ago, making such a video less helpful. If you would be able to update it to adjust for the new Corsair’s of Umbar update, I would be very grateful.
Thank for video I myself would like to be able to make medium armor out those schools you listed is there one that would be best for that thank for the help thumbs up on video
just watched all your lotro guides, and all are great. im a long term player, but explaining the concepts to a few friends im introducing into the game is hard. these help a ton. youve got a sub from me!
I've found other masters of apprentices in various places, Gondamon, so I think they may have added a few in case people can't find the ones inside the halls. I also noticed that the scholar can do most of his work anywhere with no study found yet. They are simplifying it. I have a dwarf weapon smith and an high elf prospector. That works but I probably need a hunter to supply leather. No crafting class is fully self sufficient in the resources they need.
Props to you bloopers loved it. Have a question. On re-specialization what dose it cost or dose it, is it time gated> thanks? Take care of each other be safe amd may God bless. ✌
If you could explain - Whats the point of an explorer being able to mine and smelt ore if they can't work that into anything? Im stuck with the purpose of these skills... likewise with wood.. what do i do with wood without the woodwork skill?? thanks!
If you don't have a recipe or the skill level for whatever you are trying to make you won't be able to make anything. You have to make lots of little stuff to build up your skills.
So I’m new (like only been playing for a day & a half) and kinda confused by something, I picked my class ect but then I picked up a quest to get a certain item and as far as I can tell can only get it by crafting. I got the recipe for it and one of the items needed to craft it but from what I’ve read I can only get the 2nd item via the forester subclass, which isn’t one I have. Is there any way to buy or trade the item I need somewhere or do I need to change class to get the forester ability? For reference it’s ‘log of rowan wood’ that I need.
start a new character that is a forester most people have to use multiple characters and trade crafting materials between them to get everything they need
im strugling to find good recipes to craft my own shitt besides basic recipes. Some people told me the best ones are from mobs drop and guild recipes, no idea how to get the guild ones , im lvl 35 tho and started to feel that decent gear makes difference
@@polycarpmedia7383 I check provisional at bree's crafting hall, unfortunately they only sell food ration and experted tailor doesn't supply forester tools..😞😶🌫️Where is the forester tools?.
Great video but I find the mix of sub-professions within each profession to be really frustrating and pointless. As an Explorer, two of the three resources that I can gather are completely useless to me. Why would I want to gather metal when, as a Hunter, I'm focused on medium armor and wooden bows? I wish they would let you just choose your own three sub-professions as you see fit. I have tons of metal and that I have no need for (I don't even know why I have the prospector sub-profession) and tons of wood that I can't use because I have the Prospector sub-class instead of the Woodworker one. Game design decisions like this really turn me off. Especially when they put you on a low population server that doesn't have a lot of trading going on and you're playing solo.
I feel like this guy enver worked a day in his life, and decided to make a peg board and just grabbed a buntch of shit his dad had laying on around to put on it lol.
Well, after watching HolyCrap Media mispronouncing all the proper nouns of Middle Earth, it's hard to give a sh*t about all the spectacular production values he's bringing to his channel. Kid, you might want to do some homework before operating in this world. If you want a "Pronunciation Guide 101 For Beginners" to fix all al the garbage that just came out of your mouth, feel free to reach out to the people who actually play that game. Or feel just free to talk to people 20 years older than you. They're out there.
@@polycarpmedia7383Nobody's perfect brother, and I never said I was. But I'm not trying to make bank off my face and voice on RU-vid while talking with authority about the Tolkien universe. You are. And if you choose this line of work, you're going to have to steel yourself up for some criticism. So when you get a lot wrong, you either get better, or chose another way to make bank. It's not up to me, it's up to you.
@mikepeterson9362 I did mispronounce a few things in my first video, which I corrected in the follow-up. If you'd be so kind as to show me my errors on what I said wrong in this particular video.
