I grew up in the Esprit Era, and the Elise Era spanned much of my adulthood. Now that we’re entering a new, electric era for Lotus, let’s look back at the Elise, the Exige, the Evora, and some other cars based on them. What’s your favorite Lotus? Leave a comment below.

Good thing for Gran Turismo. That's how I can get my Elise fix. I heard they were a bit of a tight squeeze anyway since I'm 6'2". But if Jeremy Clarkson could fit (barely) at 6'5" there might be hope for me yet haha. My favorites were the Matchbox Exige, the Kyosho Evora, and the Opel Speedsters. Nice collection!

12:37 no it's a 3rd gen you can tell the difference between the 3 generation mainly in the front with the headlights they became less round shaped for the 2nd and even less for the 3rd

@@Diecastclassicist both Opel and vauxhall were bought by GM in the 1920's and after few decades they began the platform sharing method and now they're nothing more more than rebadge , in 2017 PSA group (now Stellantis since their their merger with FCA) bought these two brands so there even more rebadge and platform sharing
