I realise I'm quite late to this party, but YT threw episode 1 up as a suggestion and here I am having watched the second. I think this is interesting and very watchable, with good production values and some great editing. Was a little shocked, given the great editing, at your channel ident changing keyframe position at 12:53, but that's probably just me being a pedant. I think I'll certainly watch more of this series and see what becomes of the James Bond Lotus, which was my all time dream car as a kid, precisely because of that I think.

Just found this series. I like the balance, not all fluff, real work, real problems. Nit pick at 3:11 you meant to say resting your foot on the clutch pedal presses the throw out bearing against the clutch pressure plate fingers, not the input bearing.

I found you through the Bibs interview, I'm a bit of a Lotus collector.... or rather, I just can't seem to part with any of them! After so many years watching pertrolhead content on YT I was amazed to find something refreshing and entertaining. You obviously have a background in video production (I think you mentioned it in ep 1) and boy does it show, stop action is fantastic. I'm now on a binge..... off to ep 3 cheers

It´s awesome!!! @10:01 there´s a little Fiat with a badge that says 70HP, here in Argentina in 1981, IAVA (in english means Argentine industry advanced vehicles), produced the Fiat 147 (it´s a restyling of the Fiat 127) called "Sorpasso".. 820kg, 1.3 lt engine, 9000rpm, 90HP and 0-100kp/h in 8 Seconds!.. IAVA also made the Fiat 128 IAVA.. the last restyling had a 1.3 lt engine, 102HP and 9500rpm! that exhaust is a symphony! Cheers from Cordoba, Argentina!!

I got my grandpas 77 elcamino and I just did the rear drums and front shocks. It had a rebuilt 350 v8 and pretty soon im going to go by sheet metal and make patches :)

FI-NAL-LY!! Finally someone honours the man by pronouncing his name correctly and making a statement. Giorgetto Giugiaro will thank you forever!! I never could get my head around the fact people (even Harry Metcalfe) keep getting this wrong. Same goes for the name Daniil Kvyat. Why people, whyyyyyyy....??? Soupman, you deserve your statue to be hewn out of a solid block of respect!

One of my Triumph friends told me about your vids. As others have said, I like the stop motion effects and the video has the feel of a professional TV programme which is testament to your editing skills. My own classic car (1972 Triumph Dolomite 1850 auto) has been out of action for quite some time so I really need to get my finger out. The Corsa B was in production from about 1993-2000. The electric power steering from a Corsa is a popular mod and is easy to retrofit to classic cars. I'll be watching the other episodes to catch up.

The power steering on a kombi is supplied by the leverage the huge standard wheel gives you! Armstrong power steering in fact.

If your uncle was struggling before you've just confused him some more! 😂 epic video keep them coming. A how to on the stop motion would be good too!

DON'T remove the nut holding the steering wheel on and then remove the wheel. Just back it off. The first time you get a face full of steering wheel you learn not to. ( ask how I know). Referbing cars or building kit cars, remember, if you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.
