Same here. A Plus 2S 130. Spent more time under the bonnet and under the car than Ed China! Still loved it though!!😁

Hi Roger. I did sell the car and was able to obtain a new luggage box just before it was picked up . So the new owner has a place to put stuff. Dan

There are only 10 Lotus 54's left in UK according to DVLA records. I have one in Original condition (owned since 1973) , now has a new Chassis and running gear. They were Black Badge for the death of Jim Clarke (one year only). Very rare cars now if original as most have been modified.

a walk - I had a 1971 Europa in the early 80s; had to sell but have remained a Club Lotus member and one day, maybe...

@@smudgetherealmc There is no drive like in a Lotus. I don't understand why people want to modify them from the original design, because they always lose something in the feel. Your 1971 would have been a type 65 Federal with 1565 cc engine ?

@@awalk5177 I'm in the UK so a type 54 like in the video with the original 1470cc engine

@@smudgetherealmc Interesting. my friend had a J reg and it was the Federal type 65. I wonder when the change over was actually? You must have had one of the last type 54's.
