First thing the reviewer said was incorrect. They are not built on the same chassis. Similar in design but different in construction and layout. I took the tour at the lotus factory and they pointed out the differences. Under the skin they are not the same.

i saw rumors thet are coming out w/ a ~500hp Emira@@RichWithCars. I f one has a Evora there no point one upgrading unless they beef up the engine. And that new sorta E-Suv that the chineese are putting out.. Colin is rolling in his grave.

Removing one Cadillac converter and changing the air intake will boost it about 30 horsepower give or take

I[ve driven the Emira and the Evora GT. I went with the GT. I wanted the raw driver's car. Mine is special. It has every option except the titanium exhaust. Then I did a 3rd cat delete and cold air intake from GRP. Then I had it tuned on a dyno. Now it's 504 hp with 405 torque. It's super-fast and a screamer. You can see it on my channel if you want. The Emira has a better forward view, and the mirrors are better as well as the sound system, but it's heavy and underpowered. I think you can start the Emira without lifting that red thing if your fingers are thin enough lol

Wow that red Evora GT looks awesome. Congrats on the mods and the little rocket! I can only imagine how fast and visceral that must be. The GT is def more raw than the Evora. It all depends on what you're looking for. Nevertheless, enjoy it!

Sorry man, but no way do you have 504hp. Anything over 460 needs rods on these engines. At most you're looking at around that 460 - 470 range. But if you do have 504, i would love to know what mods and see a dyno of it.

@@strmshadow8411 If you want information from me, saying "no way..." is not a good way to begin. Did you read my comment? It says what I did. I also looked at the dyno chart. The rear wheel torque is 403. The rear wheel hp is 440. 504 is at the engine. The man who did it is a mechanical engineer who was poor and wanted to race, so he taught himself how to tune his winning race cars. He told me I would need headers for more power, which I do not. @@Docinaplane I said "no way" because the formula for these cars have been out there for a long time. When you said you were making 504 I took that as whp, since most people do not quote "engine" hp after a dyno, as they have what the car is putting to the ground now, making engine hp irrelevant. Thank you for putting out the shops name 👍. After looking at their dyno tune of 436, which is good power. That correlates to about 484 bhp at a 10% drivetrain loss in best case scenario. People have calculated Emira's show about 12% loss, so best case scenario you're looking at anywhere from 484-495 at the crank. Your tuner probably calculated loss as a rwd vehicle which is not correct as it should be done as a fwd vehicle being mid engine. Also a good limit before having to build these cars is about 460whp, as rods are the weakest link according to JUBU performance who have TONS of experience with these cars.

@@RichWithCars I agree, I thought towards the beginning you were trying to show the visual differences of the GT model over other Evoras. The 400 looks very close to the GT where as the s1s are beginning to look dated.

14:58. Not the way to start the car. Place your right palm on the console and slide your thumb under the red guard to start. No need to lift up the guard with your fingers prior to hitting the start button.

Two very different cars indeed. Depends what their intended use. Daily - LC500. Weekend warriors (canyon/track driving) Emira manual

Personally, I prefer the Emira, only because it's a little more refined. I always lean towards more luxury than not. But that's just me tho....
