You have really made an excellent job of the work and have a lovely usable version of the 7. There are a couple of books you might like, as a Lotus Seven series 2 owner. "Lotus Seven" by Tony Weale and "The Magnificent 7 by Chris Rees. Both make fascinating reading. (Especially if you have the time.)

The reach of that shifter extension is fantastic! Puts the ball right there. What is it and can you get an overdrive gear in it?

The trans is a Ford that came with the project. That extension is original, nothing overly unique. I do not think there is room remaining in the tunnel to fit an overdrive, pretty tight fit.
