Same here!! I loved that scene as well. The series finale was so disappointing, I can't believe they had Parker get married to Victoria instead of being with Lou😭 And then they gave Lou a different love interest with Ryder as well, who only appeared in the last three episodes so we barely got to see much of their relationship anyways because of that - and Ryder's whole situation in the series finale with deciding to leave town and then changed his mind because he thought it was better to stay with Lou was pretty much a copy and paste of the season 5 finale when Parker decided to leave before changing his mind to stay with Lou😭 Lou and Parker really should've been together - and if they didn't want them together, then they could've at least done a better job with the other ships, both Parker/Victoria and Ryder/Lou didn't have relationships that were very well-written or interesting in my opinion. I respectfully disagree with you. My favorite part of the show are the newer seasons that don't have the Jessie characters in them. Of course I miss some things about the older seasons, I do miss seeing Emma and Xander's relationship and Emma and Lou's friendship, but overall, I'm much more attached to seasons 4, 5, and 6. If it weren't for those seasons, then I wouldn't love the show as much. I think the writing in the newer seasons is better, which that's probably because two of the writers who worked on Andi Mack (Erin Dunlap and Phil Baker) took over the show during the newer seasons. The newer episodes (particularly in seasons 4 and 5) allow the characters to have a bit more character development and it seems like the characters in these seasons care about one another more and are always looking out for each other. Also, I like some of the newer characters like Parker, Noah, and Ava more than Jorge, Tiffany, and Zuri from the earlier seasons. I know that so many people hate this show, but I personally really love it and I love it so much because of the newer seasons. Lou and Parker are my top two favorite characters in the whole show and so I'm so glad that starting from season 4, Lou became the main character and that Parker was added to the main cast in season 5! And yes while it might be a little weird that the show is technically a spin-off of Jessie without the Jessie characters, that doesn't really bother me since again, most of my favorite characters are from the newer seasons. Plus I consider the newer seasons to be its' own separate thing and I don't expect the newer seasons to have anything to do with the Jessie universe (unless one of the Jessie characters comes back as a guest star or something like Emma did in a season 5 episode). I think that more people should look at the show for what it is now instead of focusing so much on the fact that its' technically supposed to be a Jessie spin-off. I just enjoy the recent episodes because of the characters, because the show is fun to watch, because it makes me laugh sometimes, and because this show has made me smile even during a really rough time in my life this year. It's okay to not like the newer seasons, a lot of people feel the same way that you do. I guess I can kinda understand where you're coming from, since if this show were to get a season 8 and Lou and Parker were no longer a part of the show, then I probably wouldn't like that season as much. I know that if you prefer the Jessie characters and the original cast from seasons 1, 2, and 3, then you probably would have a preference for those seasons. But for some people like myself, it's the other way around, where we like the new characters more and we enjoy the newer seasons more too.
