A very good friend and I used to raise hell in this one apartment we lived in back in the day. Guy below us always ragged on us for being noisy. One night we had a crazy party. He called the cops and gave us a ration of his distain. Next morning a coroners van showed up and took him away. We opened our windows and played this at the top volume and got a stupid kick out of it. Over the years when a friend or foe passed on and we called each other with the news, we always played this song. Now, 40 years later, I just played this for him. I don't like this version. I like the one from Transformer- 1972

He kinda butchered the song tho... I don't like it when artists get bored of their hit songs and start drammatically changing them to keep them "fresh". Still, Lou Reed is in my top 5 favorite musicians.
