I gotta' say that I didn't like the "over-exposed" effect that occurred during the drilling. Suzie's videos are always so colorful and beautiful that that effect seemed a little jarring to me. Overall though it was, as always, wonderful. And the music is ALWAYS superb.
He’s incredible. He seems to be as kind hearted and calm as Suzie. They make a great team, I can sit here for Hours watching. (Oh yeah, and I’m a guy and don’t wear “nails”). Amazingly interesting.
Suzies voice is so calming i can(and do) listen to her for hours. I don't have much money either but I would find a way 😅 the only stuff ik is what ive learned for Suzie!
A couple of things I really noticed today: 1. I’m no cinematographer, but I think I counted 7-8 camera angles! Go Cameraman! 2. Medicool brushes! I knew they made an amazing e-file but didn’t know about their other stuff!
glauvie I was literally just counting camera angles too! Wondering if part of that is editing or if they really use that many cameras. Either way, bravo!!
Suzie is just an unbelievably skilled artisan! I never realized how important structure was. I happened to examine my gel manicure when I started watching her videos and noticed it was quite thick and uneven in random spots! All nail techs should learn from Suzie!
We should tell our nail techs to watch Suzie! I think there are a great number that just go through the motions, trying to get as many clients done as quickly as possibly in a day. While the end product may look OK, it's not done with great care the way a master nail tech like Suzie does it.
I have started doing my own nail extension after watching (pretty much all of) Susie’s video, and following her shaping technique closely. And then I started noticing that my friends who have their nails done professionally have less of an even shape than the ones I do and, more importantly, don’t have the arch and apex, that would make them stronger! All nail techs should learn from Suzie :)
Suzie I was just wondering when your new starter kits will be for sale? I’m a 29yo man who is finding your videos fascinating and I’d love to purchase my first kit from you. Thank you for opening my eyes to nails. Love you girl all the way from Illinois USA
this is so relaxing to watch and even just listen to, sometimes i have these videos running in the background when working and it's like a shield for stress! absolutely amazing quality and beautiful designs as well, i love it !
*sees Suzie posted a video, jumps from currently watching one Suzie video to the new one* 😂 you're so incredibly creative! It's talented and passionate nail techs like yourself that define the industry and keep this art form alive!
These are fantastic! Such a great idea to sculpt in the colour of the underside and then paint the top. I'm going to try this out the next time my mother needs a new set!
I love the editing in this, especially in the filing process, very elegant ;) Also, just in case you didn't see my last comment, could you make a video on korean nail art? I miss your colourful and extravagant (+beautiful) nail art!
i know this is an older video and you probably wont see this, but this is one of my favourite videos. and i just wanted to say that camera mans editing is amazing. you can see the effort that is put into the production of the videos and its just nice to see that some creators still put effort into their videos and make it about quality over quantity. theres no shitty royalty free music, the music is nice and calming and pleasing to listen to, i cant explain it but your videos are so pleasing to watch
I love your style of teaching. My natural nails are hopeless, and because I work with my hands I've always kept my nails really short. Since watching your videos, you've made me brave. I'll never have the long, spectacular designs you have, but thank-you for showing me that I can have the nails I want.
I don’t ever comment on your videos but I can assure you that I have seen each and every one of them. Thanks for so much you have brought to me. Your an amazing nail artist and I get my inspiration from your work. I always enjoy the guests in your videos as well as cameraman’s wise cracks. Love you all.
I love watching Suzie always, but when I can't sleep that's especially when I'll turn her channel on! Not because her vids are boring, but because watching her work is so soothing and calm, and because she has such a kind voice!
I don't even do my nails I just love how nice she is. She's so patient and kind. I work at a gas station and after dealing with drunks and crackheads half the day it's really relaxing to just hear her voice and see what beautiful things she can do.
You’re absolutely correct. The structure is key and we do pay a lot for nails and nothing is more frustrating than having to go back a couple days later because they haven’t been built properly and get charged for a fix. That’s a big reason why I learned how to do my own. I love doing it. You’re work is so inspiring and beautiful. ❤️❤️
I just realized that you always start with the middle finger nail. Is there a reason for that or just personal preference? Love this look... gorgeous!!!
I'm a guy with regular nails never had or done anything fancy besides just clipping them, but dang I just get so relaxed watching these videos and the creativity and talent is out of control. Love your content!
I’m definitely doing this design the next time I do my nails! Can I ask though, what pump do you use for your monomer? I’ve tried some before but the monomer in the top always runs back into the bottle and contaminates the rest of the monomer and it drives me crazy!
beautiful nail work, and the camerawork is fantastic . It’s so good you forget that it is there, and it all looks so easy and relaxed... 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 the green nails give me an idea for something like agate...
Oh Suzie you have done it again. I wish you were here in the US. My wife and daughters got me hooked on your videos. My wife and daughters love having nails and they love to play with so many different colors. You inspire them so much. I thank you so much for giving them all something to share together.
I love designs were you can paint the underside of the nail, really. And Loubutin stile never fails to look expensive and classy :) Thank you for teaching us how to do it
I want suzie to do my nails so badly (I've gotten my nails done twice like 9 years ago with regular polish), her voice is so calming, and I feel like getting your nails done by her is just... therapeutic
I just want to say thank you so much Suzie for the hard work & dedication you do with your videos ! You’ve helped me start doing nails on my own & when I watch your videos it gives me a big inspiration !
Jessica Koroll I'm assuming your asking the most challenging part of applying acrylics? I know I'm not suzie but I know in her past videos talking all about acrylic she always says getting the liquid to powder ratio just right is the most challenging part and takes lots of practice. Sorry if you didn't want anyone but her to answer just wanted to help if possible. :)
its so funny how these videos go from so relaxing with suzie's calm voice and perfect nail-sculpting to the sounds of the file grinding down the acrylic hahahaha
Beautiful design 😍😍😍Does anyone here have experience with monomer dispensers? I heard that they help with saving monomer but I want to know how long would your monomer last with it
Brownskin Barbie I've had mine for almost 2 years now u have be careful which 1s u buy tho some are crap. But mine I love it the liquid doesn't evaporate & the liquid u pump out doesnt go back into the container & contaminate it, I think they are a total game changer
MissPronounced what ew? What's wrong with being holosexual? I'm not saying homosexual-even though it's not a bad thing. Are you both holo phobic and homophobic? Shame.
You had the plastic tip guards on your brushes when you started. I have always been told not to leave them on. Has this been good or bad advice as I throw the tip guards away for the brushes I use regularly and store sitting in a cup on my work table.
Suzie, correct me if I'm wrong, but I was taught that if you don't have a cap, leave some clean monomer on the brush, shape it, and hang it bristles down to store it. Caps clearly are easier because then you don't need to find a way to hang your brush, just clean, shape, cap, and put in your brush jar cap down.
born and raised in Victoria here, honestly ITS WORTH IT. I know if I lived anywhere else I would fly my ass out for her quality, pure and wholesome goodness. She’s a genius, a true elegant wizard.
I love these videos so much! I personally have no interest in wearing nails or doing them, but these videos are so cool because they show the artistry of doing the nails. It's kinda like watching somebody paint or cook or working on a car; the process is just so cool!
Hey there Susie, im such a mess in nails issues but I find your channel so relaxing and educational that I keep looking forward to see another video. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, your time and your creativity with us. Its amazing
Nathaniel Puttonen there really isn't any need.. Jenna only did one nail the "right" way and then fucked around of the other ones.. There isn't really anything to teach Jenna that she hasn't already seen, she's just doesn't see through the whole video..
As always, Suzie KILLED IT! But can we all take a moment to appreciate Camera Man/Seymour? Those angles, the editing, the colochanges! YASSS. All the feels. ❤️❤️
Scarlet Moonlight you’re saying Cristine* is tacky and classless yet you’re the one who’s attacking someone you don’t even know on the internet😂😂 interestinggg
tbh I have 0 interest or talent in doing nails and would probably butcher just using polish but I can literally sit and watch your videos for hours! you're a goddess Suzie 💜
Christine would be cursing about how weird the gel is or how pretty jennas nails looked or something and Susie would be like "unprofessional!" And they'd all start laughing
