'Il Capo Dei Capi' is back this year, finally with a mafia-themed airbrush design. Also with new exhaust system made by Lorenz Truck. Bogács, Hungary, 2018 www.autodoc.hu...
Guys, please don't be violent! :) We all know that old and new engines do not share the same sound. Keep this in mind and appreciate the work that has been put in this sweet ride. :) Cheers! ;)
Truly beautiful truck in every respect. Obviously, you buy a 730 to keep the same speed uphill as you would down hill, fully freighted. I've never had the chance to drive a 730, but my favourites are the old 143-500 (awesome puller), and the 144-530 (still awesome pull, but more refined and comfortable). Truth be told, all Scanias are awesome so it's difficult to say which is the best! The R/S730 is surely the standard against which all others are tested though. Regards
World's most powerful production truck; the Scania R730 and this custom one is simply beautiful, superb, excellent. So LOVE this rig! Best wishes from New Zealand :-)
I am 55 years old ... and if my father (who was a truck driver all his life) went back to the world and saw these advances, I think he would fall asleep again. In short, he is missing the old school craft ...
A awesome video !! :D too bad the new v8 engine do not sound the same as the old v8 engine lol i really love the v8 sound of Scania 143 and Scania R500 and Scania R620 V8 but anyway nice driving nice painting nice truck my boi !! :D
Only the Haters will hate! I like the time and money you put in. I have driving several scanias and man..my first scania was a 142h, my last one a 164..i am not a fan of the white steeringwheel, but that is my taste officiële.. nowadays you can use your steeringwheel for a lot of things. We alsof not change the Seet for an old one😉but your interior, damn something els, the orange
using manually the opticruise spends more fuel. I use if i going uphill (hard uphills) and have heavy cargo coz many times the auto change gear is not put the correct one.. Other than that nice colors the white and orange. I like the sound coz im not fun of loud ones.
We think the same... kind of destroying the engine and the (clutch) program of the truck... I like manual v8 trucks with a nice sound but more if it's combinated with the work a truck is built for... that creates the nicest sounds and the load does the job, instead of 'playing' with a 730 HP gearbox where it's absolutely not built for. This is how you rape a truck engine.
A truck driver that wants to say: "Look at my truck and my big burrito and my big cohones!" But has to shift like an elderly woman 😂 And why is the shifter the only thing who was not replaced? Everything else in the truck is in the shape of a 70's-80's old school truck, but the shifter is not... Andreas Schubert would say the same thing... I am sure about that... I am not a truck driver, but I know that Schubert's truck was manual, so it is possible to retool the gearbox...Don't lie to me 😂 Anyway the Padrino-Style is lovely ✌️✌️✌️ Il Capo dei Capi 😍
Schubert's truck was R620 which could be manual straight from the factory. 😁 R730 was not sold with manual as far as I know. 😁 Anyway, I think we should appreciate the energy, effort and money that was put into this machine instead of complaining about the only thing that wasn't replaced. 😁 By the way now he has a new truck, R620 manual with mostly the same style but more Greekish. 😁 You can find it on my channel as well. ;)
Surely not as loud. ;) In this context, loud pipes means exhaust system with less/no mufflers in it. ;) But it's definitely louder than a stock Scania R730. Now the driver has a far louder setup, you can find it on my channel. :) The video is called "Showtruck Cruise". :)
@@scaniavabis1541 DPF too, but removing those two would make it illegal in Switzerland and Austria and many long tunnels in Europe. From recently there are very strict rules for almost all tunnels under the Alps regarding trucks.
Probably because it’s such a new truck it hasnt got straight through pipes even in production. Also the ECU hasn’t been hacked yet to allow it to be tuned even more. You really are dumb
