I love the M113k platform as well ! My advice to you is maintenance over mods. I’d make sure that all maintenance is done, do cooling upgrades, do long tubes, and then tune. If gas isn't an issue for you, get it but make sure it's in good mechanical shape. Other than that, they're pretty fast and comfortable cars. Thanks for watching :)
I got mine 05 at 140k miles for 12k. No major issues for mine except for small ones like window regulator and a leaking oil filter housing. Biggest thing I did is the brake job since the pads are running real low. If you are OK with 12 mpg, there is no better car for the price to do road trips in with the comfortable seats and the ability to sustain high speed for long period of times. If you are willing to push, you can halve all Google Maps ETA.
Hey I know this is a odd question but you always see people talking about the performance but how's the comfort of the ride? If you had to compare it to a more modern car as in ride quality what would you compare it to?
E55s are super duper comfortable with the stock air ride. It's very soft and honestly more akin to a modern bentley than a modern BMW. Modern AMGs and M cars are just so damn stiff I kind of miss a gentlemen's express like this.
@@RoyalCaliQue it’s currently for sale in California for $25k, when I first went to look at it the owner wanted $13k and then it sold and go out back up on Facebook marketplace for I think $18k. In between those two sales someone installed the Meth kit and drag slicks. I believe currently it has stock from wheels and drag slicks in the rear. Transmission has been replaced at least 3 times to my knowledge, last I saw it had a long ass shifter like a foot and a half tall😂

You guys realize this popping on decel is just a poor tune right? It comes from disabling fuel cut when the throttle is closed. It's just raw fuel being wasted, washing the piston and valves (not good) and exploding where it's not designed to. Why do people do this?
This car is supposed to be classy and an understatement. Trimming it to make tryhard pops and bangs is absolutely childish and ridiculous. Completely destroys the spirit of this car.
i dont know if its just me or anyone else but i just started hating those "pops and bangs" tunes they are just really bad atleast to me, like i love to hear pops a lil bit but not like this, this is really too much
