Loudness... The most underrated rock band from Japan. I listen to them when I was 14...now at 50 I am still mesmerised by their spectacular skills and talent. AKIRA rocks... Lots of RESPECT and LOVE from the Island of Borneo
Akira was my 2nd guitar idol... between Randy Rhoads and Yngwie Malmsteeen. Yeah... that's how awesome he was/is. My 80s metal cover band used to play "Let It Go" and "Rock and Roll Crazy Nights". Akira will always hold a special place in my heart... to the very moment I breath my last breath. Thank you Akira... just like you did with thousands/millions of fans... you made a difference in my life and I will NEVER forget that!!! :D
After 911 everything changed in the world. The kids of today will never understand how free we were and how much fun we all had back then. The world today is nothing like it was in the 80's. Such an amazing time.
Yea, back when everyone was getting AIDS, dying from cocaine overdoses, women’s rights were still a joke and LGBT people had zero rights. Such an amazing time.
thats because you were young and now you're not. the music of today is at its worst and the kids are dopier than the ones from the 80's and before, thats for sure.
@@NoctemAeternusMusic even today people die from AIDS, cancer, there are more autistic children and women rights are still a joke. back in the '80s, there was still a venue where you could go make friends and release your stress, now tell me where all those good venues have gone. we are living in times of division where people have become more selfish and antisocial.
This was my first arena rock concert when Motley & Loudness came to San Diego Sports Arena in California. I was a Loudness fan the minute they took the stage. Nikki should've changed his outfit for Akira!
I wish I had lived these era in my 20s. You guys had great music, great concerts, great vibe. All we have now is a bunch of hipsters playing 8 string guitars. I wish I could travel in time, I would stop in the 80s. 🤘😎
Man, I loved these guys. I think I played my thunder in the east album everyday for two years as a teen. I got to see them one time. I think it was Stryper, Hurricane, and Loudness.
Whose grew up in 80s where many stunning rock band took place will experienced many genre of rock music. It's really memorable moments of young ages. Pa Bt Gajah.
I went to see motley crews theater of pain tour at the Sports Arena in Chula Vista California. I was a big motley Crue fan and had only seen one or two loudness videos on MTV. I didn’t know much about loudness but I was blown away with their guitarist and they’re singer. Loudness may be the only opening act that didn’t get totally booed after their performance. Lots of love for Motley Crue but loudness was definitely an awesome band. In fact I left that Motley Crue concert with a loudness T-shirt. LOL!
saw triumph mountain and loudness there and motley and loudness at allentown pa, i MUST SAY THEY KICKED ASS !!!!! AKIRA Is a great guitarist, they rocked !
Went to Loudness in concert in Singapore a couple of days ago. They were tight and Minoru was a killer! He nailed every song as if he was singing 30 years ago!!
I sounded JUST LIKE these kids when asked about Loudness back in the day. I would have never imagined that there were so many of us who really understood this band and what they were bringing back then.
i saw loudness open up for night ranger, when loudness got off the stage people started leaving in big numbers. akira mops the floor with not only mick mars but also brad gillis and jeff watson of night ranger.
everybody inc the entire thrash scene where afraid of akira's skill on guitar. a humble little japanese man blowing all the "ego" out of these preserved players. at least those thrash dudes recognised loudness and did'nt pull the ego card. f..... motley crue is "average" at best.
this is awesome, this was my first concert ever. .. Seems so long ago, which it was. i'm now in my late forties and still head banging except to thrash and death metal now
殆どのメッセージが英語で書かれている(日本人以外が書いている)とは、日本人として誇り高いどころではない。高崎さんは、今でも The best guitarists ever リストの常連です。(英米の)Most of the messages are written in English and we should be more than proud! Akira Takasaki is always on the best guitarists ever lists in the States and UK. (I am a Japanese citizen.)
4:28 Tells Akira his costume isnt gonna work because its too close to Nikki's Theatre outfit. Akira changes into a Shout At The Devil style costume instead. Gotta love Loudness!
I was in 7th grade when this tour hit Philly. I didn’t get to go but couple of my friends went and next day they all said Loudness blew Motley Crew away!
I saw this tour as well...Vince was suckin, as usual...Loudness played a flawless set...I remember I couldn't take my eyes off Akira...he was only around 23 yrs old then...shredding his ass off...he was very different and original for those times
@@shreddinjoe oh yeah....there's plenty if you haven't checked them out in awhile. I recommend the latest two, but also Biosphere...it's a departure from typical loudness, but I really like it...good earphones or earbuds are a must though.
When they played in New Jersey , While Akira was performing his guitar Solo , Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx peaped out of the side of the curtains to watch him play. We all saw them .
