RIP Louie you were a comedic genius. Even when you tell stories they are funny. Your comedy really makes my day when I am feeling down and I really laugh a lot too!
Members of my family grew up with Louie on the east side of St Paul, Mn. He really had a poor childhood and came from very little. He's genuinely a class act and a great dude! Ya gotta love Louie 😂
That was the whole joke lol people say the meanest things without realizing it, then turns to Andy and apologizes for doing just that. I guess people didn’t catch that.
Louie, you brought me more laughs than you’ll ever know. My parents are from the Midwest like Louie, and his stories about his parents absolutely kill me. They hit so close to home. He was just so real, relatable and so nice. Rip
Man, I love Louie, one of the first comedians I ever watched all those years ago and he's still hilarious today. Saw him live for the first time a few years back, excellent show.
When I was a kid and he hosted Family Feud, I LOVED Him. I thought he was the funniest guy ever. I still think he's very funny. I know everyone loves Steve Harvey, and I love him too, but I really think that Louie Anderson was a funny Family Feud host and should be mentioned more often. He always had me dying. He didn't overtly make fun of people's dumb answers, but he would give certain looks and it would just kill me.
Louie Anderson was one of the greatest Comedians of all time! My deepest condolences go out to Louie’s friends especially the Anderson family during this difficult time. Heaven has gained a darn good Comedian, just way too soon. Rest In Peace Louie (1953-2022)
In Romania Life with louie was a hit. Im 26 now I still watch it with my gf while we eat. My father watched it, all my friends watch and quote life with louie. When I think of my childhood I think of Life with louie. Thank you mr. Anderson. He's the only celebrity I would like to meet. If I had a picture with him I would be a rockstar in my family:))
louie has some great sets and bits from 20+ years that still crack me up. his stories are great too. he lives a peculiar life and looks insanely strange cartoon character
I vaguely remember watching Life with Louie back in the 90s and I'm glad he got the role in Baskets. I never seen any of his stand up acts until after I saw him in the show and he became my favorite character. He's hilarious! SNL please have him host!
Even if he did I don't see why he would point that out. That can easily disturb the flow of the conversation for no gain. (Although seeing as how funny this guest is he probably could've cracked another joke off of that.)
My favorite part of listening to Louie are the life lessons embedded in his humor 🤔 hopefully, next time before something is said we remember that words can hurt or they can heal. I really commend Louie for having the courage to use this avenue to communicate that what has been said needlessly and senselessly has hurt. In reflection, we have the responsibility to choose what we say knowing the words we speak can potentially cause unintentional hurt
