A true "Master At Work" with his craft. I remember when I used to go to "Ozone Layer" in Bklyn, the home of another legend "David Morales" and pay my $ 10.00 admission and dance the whole night without taking a break. Afterward, we'll head out to White Castle and pig out with hamburgers at 6:00 a.m. These legends can't be touched! Keep playing my brothers!! A house head to the END!! Mel Dee, Sunset Park, Bklyn!!
For me, listening to Louie Vega takes me back to my old club days when the DJ's overdubbed their own vocals & drums over the vinyl LP's they played in their shiny tiny glass booths! It's a creation & so worthy for a peaceful world!

Denise Mitchell Right here!!! I danced in 70% of the Clubs that you listed. I remember those humongous bowls of fruit in the Garage...you could fit Better Days (48th & 8th Ave) in the Garage😁..I don't know if you ever visited "Catacombs" in Philly (with DJ's David Todd & Donald Stone R.IP. to both) but I would add it to your list without a doubt!!
Denise Mitchell P.S. Philly had several great dance clubs over the years: Smart Place, The Nile, Back Street Club...I will even throw in a couple of "main stream" Clubs like Second Story & The Library, because DJ Frankie (whom I knew personally and made guests appearences at the aforementioned Clubs) made those stuffy Philly people come out of those 👠 and suit jackets!!
Those that over dose listening to this music was on them not the music, you can’t blame no dj,no dj music no one but you you are responsible for your own spirit and life.
