Interesting facts for you guys - I play in a big band that was founded by Louis’s mum and Louis was in it on and off for a year or so before he left school, around the time his video of Harry James Trumpet Concerto was captured. He was already an absolute monster at that age, so accurate, with an incredible range and so relaxed with it. He used to come along and play all the Goodwin lead charts and crush them. One top of that he had memorised all the Wayne Bergeron solos like Horn Of Puente and could reproduce them perfectly. At 15! Without a doubt the most talented musician I’ve ever played with and a really nice guy to boot.
