They were absolutely fantastic!. So talented. U wont find talent like that anymore. They were made for each other. She had a beautiful voice and his on stage talent was the very best. Both of you RIP. .🙏
It was an act they played between them. She would dead pan irritation and boredom with his antics, and Prima's antics would get crazier and crazier in retaliation.
What an incredible performance. The notes they drop in words or sounds... fall in that space between rhythm parts.... that's are open.... which define this style of song. If that makes any sense.
RIP Keely Smith.A superb act.Don't think I go a day without listening to some of there records. You got to love the underpinning rhythm 'shuffle beat' in the background, makes me want to get up and dance!
He's havin an absolute ball. I wdv loved to have met him. He and his band are everything entertainers shd be about.....passionate, creative and lovin every minute of it. I'm a musician and appreciate all that he was about. True entertainer.....
Louis Prima, keely Smith trop formidables, leurs style fabuleux, sens du rythme, humour a deux, hilarant, tempo extraordinaire, vraiment jamais nous ne retrouverons, des voix pareils.
I loved these two people. They knew how to entertain. Two of my other favorites were Sonny and Cher. Does anyone notice the resemblance besides me? Rest in peace Keely, Louie, and Sonny. Still love you Cher.
Keely was like that knockout in high school that all the boys were crazy about but could never get near. Louis was the class goofball, making faces and doing everything to get her attention. At first, she can't stand him but, little by little, he finally wins her over!
What can you say about this lil' ol' swingin' group? THE WERE THE HOTTEST - THIGHTEST AND MOSTLY GROOVIN' LITTLE BAND ANYWERE. Beside that, Louis Prima, the King of (what is it called???) entertaining! Not too forgot the charming talented KEELY SMITH!!!
