Well to start off, he's 30. He started going on adventures when he was maybe...15-17? Skipped school & randomly went to Paris with a friend. From there, he started traveling super cheap ex: Hitchhiking/taking cabs places but sleeping on the street After HS ( I don't think he ever made it to college ) he chose the homeless life as he wandered around. He then started his FoodforLouis channel which got him a little viral. Then he made this channel where he vlogged what he's always done since he was 15-17---travel. Now he's making a living for himself. He's getting sponsored. Ofc none of us can be sponsored like how he is but he's proof that if you want it, you can get it. And why CAN'T he be up-front about being sponsored? Do you want him to hide it? I think that would make me irritated if he hid it. - It's possible. Not sure if this can all be obtained by 20 but by 30 it is indeed possible but I think for us normal folk, we'd have to save up cash from jobs before venturing out since many of us can't get viral & stay relevant enough to make a living off of YT.
More like Vine x Instagram. Vine because of the video aspect but it's longer, Instagram because the videos stay there unlike Snapchat except this is purely just videos instead of mainly photos. And ik IG has video too but it's mainly a photo sharing app. I swear I've seen an app like the one Nick is making before but it failed because there was barely anyone on it lol
Louis, you are having the worst luck with gear, from dropping a lens to leaving your laptop on an airplane, to a sand storm on the beach damaging you new camera... Oh well at least the chocolate looks amazing and the paragliding, the massage and all the food was good. :-)

***** Fair enough Nathan, I really can't disagree that he is careless with his gear. I guess I know other people who are as careless with their gear as Louis and don't have the issues he seems to have. Maybe it's that they're lucky as not that he is unlucky.
I don't like being noisy but how does Nick have all this money? It doesn't seem like he has a job and to my knowledge you don't make money from making apps until you sell them or gain money from advertisement. I remember seeing Ang doing some tutoring, but it doesn't seem often. Perhaps he just inherited money but idk, it just seems a mystery to me.
He has some sort of business interest, though I'm not sure what. I believe Ang's family is loaded, in a previous vlog Nick took Louis, Ben and a few other RU-vidrs to his father-in-laws house...I mean palace. An unbelievable house. It was for sale at the time, I believe they were asking something like $4 MM (USD) for it.
Not sure, the other replies might help but I know that he's richer in South Africa than he is in the UK so location is also giving him a helping hand in that. But to the other replies, I don't think her father would just give Ang money to live off of unless he died (inheritance) o__O Unless she's spoiled?

Brave move to post a picture of the app, name, idea etc - 3 days before submitting it to iTunes, it would be SO easy making a "lite" version before then and submitting it Tuesday night ... But good luck with it Nick :)
itsadamoc DjTak3On3 - So I can hear that non of you guy have ever worked as a software dev. - Let me tell you some funny little things, an iPhone App (that basic) can take well under a day for a good small team to make, hell - I even think I can get it done in a day alone... - Because it's very similar to other apps (such as Vine, Instagram etc) you can even skip the primary coding part and copy the source code and tweek it as you wish, the design is also very basic, so nothing would be hard to copy for a person who knows what he's doing.. - The thing that takes time when it comes to Apps is the planning, the design, the functions etc. - all which was shown in the video. - So yes, my unknowing friends, it WOULD be easy to copy this if you wanted too :)
Vince Dae but isn't it already in the system (apple testflight) when you can download to test it on the phone. So you would think that it's already reserved for you. Then usually all the beta testers could do the same and steal the idea... and that just sounds weird.

Louis went to South Africa to chill out... In one day he bought a new camera, went to a market, a chocolate factory, he went paragliding, for a massage, went out for dinner and went to take some pictures..

My grandpa back in Philippines have some cocoa trees, I like to eat the fruit (you chew/suck on the stuff inside the cocoa @ 2:30) until there's only seeds left and then my grandpa lets the seeds sun dried, and then we bring them to the mill so they get crushed? (I forgot the word) and then he turns them into cocoa bars, which we make into hot cocoa milk or champorado (chocolate rice pudding). I dont like the hot cocoa though, cause its really bitter, its 100% cocoa after all. But yeahhh~ :D
I forgot to bring any earphones with me on my way to work so I thought I would try to read the CC subtitles. I wouldnt recommend it, it literally made no sense at all! when you were filming the curry it somehow translated it to "death"? Safe to say I will be re-watching this when I get home tonight!
He's literally doing all of the things I can't ever do in one day. I have a stomach disease, so eating curry (and two different types for that matter), eating lots of chocolate and then going paragliding would most likely destroy me. lol

Chocolate factory, paragliding, massage, full moon at the beach and curry, and oh, all of this in South Africa. For Louis that's an exciting day, for me that would be, like, an exciting year
The only chocolate factory tour I ever went on was to Cadbury World and it's actually put me off of chocolate for good. The smell just followed me around and made me feel so sick, so if I smell chocolate I immediately feel sick, and I also spotted one of the men who was making chocolate molds pick his nose and then proceed to touch the chocolate which was still in a liquid state, never eating it again. xD
