I know it’s been months, but this is just sad. They’re all pushing 30 and acting like this is just giving more fuel for the fans ( especially the younger ones ) to essentially act foolish. I really hope by now, they have matured in a lot of ways and talking out their past issues like actual adults.

@@niszn3003 he never did, but i think Louis gave him the invitation so they can sort it all out and maybe talk, since Jay wanted it. But Zayn never showed up and Louis didn't want to talk to him anymore, because he wasn't there for him during the rough time. Idk it's just a thought.

So most people think he failed as a friend because he did not tell that he can't come he didn't say anything

Hey, it’s okay love, they promised they’d be back and still say to this day they know a reunion will happen when they are all 100% ready, they wouldn’t just let the band that got them where they are today with amazing people supporting them go to waste and not ever reunite and see each other again all together in the same room. They are all in contact now so I’m sure they have briefly spoken about when they should do a reunion because obviously they can’t do it right this second with the pandemic but I’m sure when they pandemic is over they will find time to all talk about it probably to try and sort out reunion plans and when it would be right to do it. Just relax it will be okay, we all know how bad they want to reunite

I think when the death of a loved one is involved, the bitterness would hit different. Zayn should of put the pettiness aside and attended the X factor performance! For atleast one night he could have, they all flew in the night before. There’s times you show up out of respect and that was one of them. Unless you are in louis position you can’t imagine the amount of hurt he must have felt realising zayn hadn’t showed up that night after his mums passing. And don’t get me wrong, it is awful what zayn has been through which resulted in him leaving the band. So I can’t blame zayn for leaving, but the mutual respect for each other should’ve still been there. And as you said the media can twist EVERYTHING. I think the only reason louis has reacted like this is because of how much he did care about zayn, if he didn’t I think he’d just let it go. He was obviously really hurt! And another thing for zayn to say that him & Harry “never really talked” is very disrespectful. Clearly isn’t true. Zayn didn’t deserve to go through what he did being under modest management, neither of the boys did at that fact. But without one direction, he would not be where he is today! Nor have the fame/fans he does. So for that he should show a little more respect towards the boys.

I am not going to defend Zayn if he didnt attend the concert because he was lazying off in his house or being petty, but I feel that he is a very emotional person, too sensitive infact, which is why he cant deal with the perks of fame. He takes things to heart,esp if it comes from people he cares about, aka Louis, so what ever happened after he left the band, the snide comments and what ever, he was too hurt to pretend that he was cool, and fake a friendly appearance to the concert. If louis is only angry due to Zayn's concert absence, thats alright, but I feel like he is angry because Zayn left in 2015, he showed grace and forgiveness to Harry, when he basically actually made the "hiatus" a thing but he is still a good lad and Zayn is a bad guy in his eyes.... The other boys interact with each other because they know the fans will hate them if they dont, but Zayn wont perform a friendship for twitter hysteria. But I feel like he should have attended the concert for Johannah, she was a wonderful woman, and she would have wanted him there. I dont know what really happened in 2016 or earlier but I do know that both Zayn and Louis are good people, and I do hope things are amended someday.

However, in regards to the can’t handle the fame thing, it is very controversial to say that because his actions after he left the band say completely different. He claimed he left because he wanted a normal life out of the spotlight, but went on to start making solo music/career not even 2 months after he left. He then signed to RCA records in July 2015. It is only natural that the boys would have a little bit of resentment towards him for leaving as the band was doing so well & they wore in the middle of a tour so it was very inconvenient timing. They also know he was one of the strongest singers so therefore vital. I don’t know if it was louis or Liam who stated zayn gave them that edge! However i think they have all let go of that and have accepted that zayn will definitely not be part of the reunion if & when it happens. As Harry stated, it is sad that he wasn’t enjoying it. But obviously mostly down to management control & how overworked he was. As for the performing a friendship for twitter hysteria, I can’t say I agree with that statement, as Liam and Louis are genuinely good mates still. And Niall still shows his support from time to time, and as for Harry well he rarely ever goes on social media anyways! Niall & Harry also caught up at the brits last year. And back to louis & zayn, he clearly states that he doesn’t feel like either of them are too mature to have the conversation yet. He says there were a few calls back and forth AFTER his mum passed and zayn had agreed to be there. It’s inevitable zayn would have felt anxious & nervous about seeing all the boys again so he shouldn’t have agreed if he knows it’s something in his heart he wouldn’t have been able to pursue. And people always remember the times they needed you most, I think because it was the X factor where it all began played a big part in for louis too as well as his mum obviously. They are both good people I agree. But zayn definitely doesn’t give the boys/1D the credit they deserve. They got him to where he is now, and I think sometimes he forgets that, I hope he regrets saying that him and Harry never really talked too, because that definitely wasn’t the case. It’s clear he wants to drop all of his boyband roots. Understandable as he never wanted that image anyways. But credit to the boys & the friendships wouldn’t go astray.

They were the besties of the group, and now they’re strangers. Also my two fav members (and still are. Zayn did promise Louis that he will show up at his x-factor performance following his mum's death but he didn't. Zayn has serious anxiety issues which is why he never performs live or attends interviews etc. What if he did really want to attend Louis's show but in the last moment he had panic attacks?? and maybe he was too embarrassed to explain why he didn't show up so he didn't say anything at all. ANxiety is such a horrible thing you don't know what it feels like so don't judge someone unless you're in their shoes.
