I love wearing this bag in the winter when I have a lot of layers and a big coat on, it's very playful and effortless. Also forgot to mention when I was shopping for the bag I also considered the Saint Laurent sac du jour, but at the time they hadn't come out with the smallest size that they have now, Lady Dior, and also the Céline trio bag. +Mandy Lee hi there! sorry for the late reply. for me i would hands down choose the BB again because i think the alma especailly in vernis is a very formal looking bag so if it didnt have a strap and was only top handle it would be too serious for me. i think the BB is more modern and young. but you can also take the strap off and it easily becomes a very classy evening bag..very versatile! i think my main point is i wouldn't use a alma PM for an everyday bag and for me that's what i think the PM size is for

+Andrea Castillo thanks :) i'm not sure since i don't have anything in epi leather, ubt vernis is very durable...maybe you can ask a sales assistant they can tell you better. and yes the zippy compact wallet should be able to fit no problem, as long as it's not the long one
Viviana LVlover Hi Viviana, I'm sorry I don't know the exact length of the shoulder strap (I don't have a measuring tape) but I'm sure you can find the measurements somewhere online. But just for reference, I am 5'4, and the bag rests right below my hip if I wear it on my shoulder as you can see toward the end of the video. Hope that helps! x
Hey there! If you have hesitations about your bag definitely go exchange it! Don't want to force yourself to like the color. I think amarante is gorgeous but very limited to almost an exclusively evening bag - makes the bag more serious. Cherry is more versatile and bright!
Have you looked into griotte or magenta? I think those are two in between colors you may like. Especially griotte, I personally think it's so gorgeous. It's not as dark and serious as amarante but is still a very rich and deep color. GOOD LUCK! Let me know what you end up doing 😊

Hi, I am thinking about buying alma bb in Vernis but i have learned that there are some of them that get stained even with their own handles... how do you store your alma?
+Annabelle Lee that color is really pretty but to be honest I like that color better in the epi leather! In my opinion it's more girly and classy. I like deep dark rich colors in vernis leather - I think it goes better, the vernis finish just takes deep colors to another level and Indian Rose has that quality
