LR is a beautiful, fast boat, a bit better than Ineos. The real problem is the team (Bruni) and their tactic. They made an unbelievable number of errors. Ineos team is way superior.

These wind conditions were supposed to favour LR but Britannia was dominant. So they've won in all conditions, which is a hopeful sign. Amazing progress since the prelims, when they weren't at all competitive and many were calling the boat a bus. But have they improved enough to catch up with the Kiwis, who are looking mighty strong? Guess we'll find out soon enough.

I would not say Britannia was dominant. They were never able to sail away and won most of the races because they had a better start. I would even say LR was the slightly faster boat but the had the inferior sailors.

LR barely won a start in the final. Tough in these boats that are fairly equal. Ineos hás been better since the winds lifted. Was and probably still is a bus in light conditions

Exciting race for these vessels… Seems like much was learned and a convergence of sorts with regard to boat setup. My very simple formulation is anyone but NZ. Can’t wait for the big showdown! 😅

if the kiwis win, the competion won't move from here because Grant Dalton could've chosen any location in the world to host the competition and he picked Barcelona, which he's hugely fond of because of Barcelona's olympic spirit back in those days
