I love this bag too! I pre-ordered this through my SA and have just received mine recently. I was so excited with the bag and I didn't check it thoroughly when I picked it up. I took it out a few days after I brought it home and I noticed the hardware on one sides of the bag makes those squeaking sound. I am wondering if yours do that?

Oooh that’s a tough one!! They are both beautiful bags but both very different - not only in aesthetic but also in price! You’ll be able to fit more in this Dauphine bag so it depends what you want to use the bag for 😊 The Chanel Classic Flap is very timeless and will probably hold its value better long term but just go with whichever makes your heart sing! You’ll have to let me know what you decide 🥰 x
This bag is holding up really well 😊 The leather edging is really a good finish for this bag because it shouldn’t experience issues like the canvas Pochette metis. Can’t see any wear and tear issues but I am careful not to scratch the leather tab with my nails when opening 😊
Did you find the strap to be uncomfortable when you lengthened it? I received this as a gift so I never tried it on but when I strengthen the straps, I find the snaps to be uncomfortable on my shoulder, is it just me?

Yellowchicroad the thread is in the leather just under the lid .. their head version we can see it has stitches on the outside. But the recent versions they have hidden it inside.! You can watch other unboxing clips see. Or you can go to the store to see it!
Phuong Anh Do Ngoc it’s holding up really well, no wear and tear issues to note. Just careful not to scratch the leather tab. It’s calfskin leather trim so it’s more resistant than a lambskin. If you love the bag, you should totally go for it!! It’s a beautiful size and lots of versatility 😊
i got my first LV bag, and it is the LV dauphine. And i saw that there is already scratches on the gold part of the bag where there is no plastic. Is that normal or should I sent it back and change it? Thanks in advance
Went to the mall to buy an Apple Watch and ended up buying this bag. It was the only one though which was weird . Floor model . I want to take it back and get a brand new one , but they said they only keep 1 bag at the store until they sell it .... that’s weird
I don’t think that’s weird at all. My local store only usually gets one of the special pieces. Very rarely do they have multiples available in store. So you’re very lucky to purchase this beautiful bag 😊💕
Same here. Walked in the store with the thought of purchasing a monogram Neverfull MM, but I saw this bag in galet and I was like WOW! It was the only one in the store and now she's mine. I'm still sick over the price, tho.

The Dauphine is $4000 in Australian dollars. The Mini size is only slightly cheaper, but doesn’t come with a chain strap so I think the MM size is better value for money 😊
Hi Bella, this Dauphine bag was purchased directly from Louis Vuitton shortly after it was released for the Cruise 2019 collection and there is no question that it is indeed authentic. The stitches you are referring to can also be seen on the Cruise 19 Runway images of this bag, and also on the Louis Vuitton website when you look up this bag and select the close-up image of the clasp - the stitches are visible. There is every chance that they have since updated this bag to no longer include these stitches on the front leather tab as LV have been known to revise and update designs of their permanent collection bags - like for example with the Palm Springs backpacks, the zippers are now completely different. I trust the above information settles your concerns. There is absolutely no question that all the bags I personally purchase and feature on my channel are authentic.
