I am not neccessarily sticking up for Fashionphile but I believe it is UPS that bangs up the boxes in shipment. I live in California and I get banged up boxes when I get get something from New York. Just to say 4,000 Miles is a long distance to get something delivered by truck with many stops.I do believe Fashionphile is sluffing in many ways. ( I live 10 miles from them). But it is UPS who throws the boxes around.
Hello. Oh, it could very well have happened in transit. Then I opened the box and saw dirty paper, so I was just annoyed at the entire experience. Lol. The bag is almost pristine so I was happy. Can you shop in the FP facility? That would be dangerous for me to be 10 miles from them 😂
@@camiscloset2369Have to make an appointment. I have bought and sold many bags with them over the years. They buy to low and sell to high now. Not the same company it was 5 years ago. I sell mostly now with a private boutique I go to. As my pocket book dwindles my desire for expensive bags does too. My addiction is going into remission. Thank God I can't afford the high prices. For sure! My husband used to work for them and when he’d get work he’d have to rearrange his truck bc the loaders throw them in the trucks! Then the drivers have to either take time from delivering to fix it or just go with them all over the place or they don’t have time ti get packages out! UPS managers don’t care about loaders bc they pay them cheap wages and it’s a big turnover job! So yes it’s on them for sure. Not the company! I so agree with you!
The paper is dirty from the black interior of the shipping box. The bag wasn't secured with paper and banged around during shipment. The same happened to me, except the wrapping paper around my bag was navy because the interior of the shipping box was navy. I hope this brings clarity. I'd be more concerned whether the item was damaged than what the color of the paper turned out to be.
It looks gorgeous on you! I don't think the white paper is dirty. I think it's from the item rubbing on the black ink on the inside of the box during shipping.

That bag is gorgeous and looks fabulous on you. Don’t worry about the epileather. I have an epileather Alma PM from 2004 and an epileather Alma PM from 1997. The epileather on both is fabulous. Epileather is not delicate. It is almost indestructible. I used to have an Alma BB, I sold it because it was too small for what I carry. I am one of those people who carries what I will need and I won’t downsize. You know if I downsized to fit the smaller bag, it will be the exact time that I will need the thing I left out, just that once.😂😂😂
Hello and thank you! I’m the same way about my work bags. On the weekends I can carry 4 items. But I’m afraid to downsize my work tote. You know, things like, Neosporin, sunscreen, pens, 5 lip balms! It’s kind of silly since I have my own office and have all these things in my cabinet and drawers. Lol. I can live in my office. It’s a psychological thing. TFW🙏🏼💙☺️
It’s very possible that it got crushed after it left Fashion Files hands. And the dirt on the paper could have come from the interior of the box, as it is dark colored. Much ado about nothing.

Hello! Yea, maybe I was being a bit picky, lol. The box annoyed me but it’s very probable that it got damaged during shipping. I trust them the most. They do have amazing customer service which is very important when spending obscene amounts of money. I’ve been very satisfied with their company other than the fact that they charge ridiculous prices for used items. TFW🙏🏼💙☺️
Great find! That’s a really pretty bag. I love the Alma especially in epi. Such a forever classic. Yeah, FP has been rather hit or miss lately. I’m either very pleased or very disappointed. I do buy from them although I much prefer Yoogi’s Closet. Enjoy your new beauty ❤
Great choice. I love vintage, they are so unique. I have some older Gucci bags (2010) and a favorite Chanel Jumbo Black Caviar Silver Hardware Single Flap (17 years) that I prefer vintage. I even restored some old LVs because I loved them so much. Thank you for your video. I like them. LYXBAGS
I use the LYXBAG as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
UPS may have crushed your box, happens all the time here with them and FedEx. Dirty paper inside is not acceptable, almost makes you wonder if the box was opened before you rec’d? Thank you! I don’t often receive crushed boxes so I was thinking that FP recycles boxes from returns which is fine, but make sure everything looks good. The dirty paper was unacceptable. You got the bag I had on my wishlist at Fashionfile !!! We must have been looking at it at the same time! I love it! I decided on the Aspinal of London (AL) instead because it was only $795. The LV looks great with jeans. The AL I bought looks more dressy and is smaller. Now that I’ve seen the LV on you in the mod shots, I’m rethinking my choice because the LV can hold more. FYI: there is another petite RU-vidr who has a small stool she stands on in front of the camera to give better Mod shots of where bags fall on her.

At first I didn’t pay much mind to the Alma bb style but once I saw at LV that my kindle could fit with the essentials, I was sold on getting one. I have been loving my red and gold hardware epi Alma bb. I love it so much that I’m planning on adding two other colors down the road! Crossing my fingers LV comes out with a gold or silver color way! I love metallic bags.

I am pretty sure that box condition is from the mail service. They are pretty rough when handling it. I have had boxes coming with worse damage from USPS. The paper may seem dirty because of black interior of the box. There was some transfer ? …the bag is stunning.
Hello! Yes, that’s most definitely what happened. As you may or may not know, my unboxings are authentic and I don’t edit so that was my knee jerk reaction to the box and the inside as I have never received a box from FB in that condition inside or out. But the bag is perfect. TFW🙏🏻☺️💙
I bought this bag in red from fashionphile and I love it. But I also don’t like their new packaging method. It doesn’t give that luxury vibe it use to. It feels rushed.
Hi Cami, the Alma bb in épi leather is great. I have this bag in black and I LOVE it! Last winter it happened that I suddenly went in a snowstorm with mine . As soon as I went back to my hotel I dried it with soft tissues and this incident was not a big deal for the bag!!! Enjoy it!😄❤

I’ve purchased a couple of bags from TRR and the bag was crushed both times and the bag was just thrown in the box. No tissue paper, no care in packing at all.

I ship out in brand new boxes delivered straight from the post office! We put them together and tape the hell out of them! I can’t tell you the pics I get of crused box pics! Guess whose fought it is? Somewhere between when we drop them off and when they get delivered! We surely don’t dent in boxes! I’ve received many dented in boxes from even the LV warehouse who ships UPS! It’s out of the shippers control! If you sell something expect the box to most likely be beat up looking bc that’s what is happening today with all shipping companies no matter who you use!
Hello! I’ve been pretty lucky with how I receive my shipments. But, I know what you mean. The shipping carriers don’t care and that’s why when I sell something, I pack it in bubble wrap and plastic to secure it as best as I can. TFaw🙏🏼☺️💙

Makes me so mad bc I wish they’d all stop and it’s all carriers! However there is no certain person to talk to bc it passes through so many hands and warehouses and flights! You can’t seriously believe that Fashionphile packed your item in a dented box? The condition of the package is a result of the shipping carrier! It looks it’s been through the wringer while in transit! Now the paper being dirty is not acceptable! I almost think based on the condition of the box that it was opened and resealed! Hello! If FP is trying to recycle and save money they may re use boxes. I don’t often get dented boxes. The FP tape was intact so I don’t think it was opened then resealed. I actually didn’t realize that it wasn’t assembled. I didn’t notice it even though the representative sent me several other photos and a video. TFW🙏🏼☺️

Hello. Yes, 10% if you return or cancel reserve. That’s a HUGE fee to pay to return an item. If your bag is $1000 you’re paying $100 to return or cancel etc…return shipping is about $15. That’s not an issue. TFW🙏🏼💙☺️

That strap does not fit my rack crossbody! This colorway was released twice. The BB no longer comes with this crossbody strap, they have the guitar strap and I’m pretty sure it’s the one that’s not adjustable.

My box from my Chanel tote came from the NYC location and the box was in rough shape the tape was torn on the front of the box! So much for pilfer proof! 😂When it arrived I was so nervous to open it but luckily it was ok. Just an observation as the others from Carlsbad come in ok from across the country!
