After literally 3 years of debating: I finally bought a denim shawl! I was able to scoop up the denim shawl in the color “Chili” which is more of an orange color. I have to agree that the scarf does snag very easily! However, I have a small hack that I use that seems to help! Whenever you see a snag, I take a pair of nail clippers and cut the thread down as much as possible. Then I flatten the thread down. This seems to keep the scarf looking amazing & the runs don’t seem to get any worse! I will say that I also don’t wear necklaces or bracelets when I wear it! Not taking that chance!
Great review! I wear a ton of jewelry everywhere especially rings and bracelets so this video helped me reconsider whether or not this will be the best for me.
Great selection! I really love your style and your channel, thats why it would be absolutely amazing if you could do a scarf collection video in which you how to tie them for occasional motorbike rides, cause I'll start as pillion rider this spring on my boyfriends new Harley and got no clou what kind of scarf to buy and wear to protect ears, nose and cheeks against the airstream. Thanks and lots of love to you from Germany, Hanna
Thank you for the kind words! I am not a bike rider so I don’t know how helpful I’d be in that regard but I would definitely suggest against the LV monogram shawl. They are VERY dainty and my guess is they wouldn’t hold up well with all that wind.
Wow, this is a very helpful video about these luxurious bags. It is really helpful and I really love your video! I enjoyed watching it, I will continue to support your channel!💖😊 btw I’m a fellow RU-vidr in Korea hope we can stay connected 💖
Hi! I hope you see my message and respond. I just got the denim one two days ago and I wore it tonight and red sauce spilled on it 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I’m so heart broken. The stains are small but still. Do you know if dry cleaning will get it out?? 💔💔
I actually have them all folded in an ottoman that doubles as storage. I wrap the shawls in tissue since they are so dainty and susceptible to snagging. Hope this helps! 🧣
Do you notice a different in the snagging between the regular and the denim. I got the midnight monogram shaw and it's all black and I'm hoping that helps with how noticable the pulls are, but I want to get a lighter one also.
My tone-on-tone shawls do not have any snags so I cannot speak from experience (thankfully haha), but because the denim is 2 toned, I imagine snags are more noticeable there. Tone-on-tone *should* conceal snags better since there is no contrasting color.
@@ClassicClaudine ohh I see. I'm looking at the dune color monogram shaw it looks so pretty! But I also like how the denim scarfs are easy to see the logo.
Katie FitzGerald dune is pretty! And then denim is great too! I’m no help lol. Seriously though, in my opinion the denim has a more casual look so perhaps take a minute to think about how you dress most of the time: is it more casual or more dressy? Also, do you like discreet logos or more noticeable ones? Those 2 Qs should help you figure out which way to go for your first shawl. And then just add the other style to your collection later! 🤪 hehe.
I did not, but I also hardly wore them. I was so hesitant to use them knowing how delicate they are. I ultimately parted ways with all of the scarves. I won’t enjoy an item if I am on pins and needles when trying to wear it.
Classic Claudine thank you! I am deciding whether to get this one or the Gucci one for my mom. She wears rings and other accessories. I haven’t seen many reviews about the Gucci shawl though so I’m having hard time picking now.
I can’t speak to the Gucci scarf, but I have heard of jewelry snagging on the LV scarf and/or people putting jewelry on after wearing the scarf to avoid snags.
