Can't agree with you more that it's such a classic and it's still a "HOT" item aka "hard to find" these days! Honestly LV's leather is so durable, mine is 20 years old passed down from my mum and it's still brand new. All I had to do was just get a new strap because it fell apart. Idk if you have the same issue but my con is that when I carry the bag on my shoulder or just daggling from my hand the zipper starts to unzip and my things fall out! So I always have to watch how I'm carrying it... I guess that's why I don't carry it as much, thank you for this detailed review girl! 💖
Yesssss I remember you mentioned that before! 💕 So cute that you got a vintage piece passed down from your mom that is so cool! I actually don't have that issue with my bag, the zipper is suuuuuuper tight and doesn't move when I use it. Perhaps they changed their zipper style/designs!!
Been trying to find it for years!! Such a classic piece should be available! The price increase this year was so crazy!!! Now that I go back and watch 90 movies I see so many actresses wearing it! Omg I haven't seen this in any 90s movies!! I probably don't watch enough 😆... I know I didn't think there were many cons to it but the zipper part kind of does get in the way, but its not a deal breaker 😊💖
I was the fortunate ones to preorder the PA mono back in June, got it in August from a SA. This bag is a classic, I love it. Finally, us Melbournians just got out of lockdown, and I'm finally using it! You can use coconut oil to get rid of the hand sanitiser.. let us know if that works. I was told that the demand outweighs the production!! They can’t mass produce these items unfortunately 😭 Even if they make 1000s they’re all sold almost immediately or sell out super fast!

@@samanthamok The trend of these small over the shoulder bags has been blowing up since about last year. We make thousands of these and they get sold out online under 5 min. The easiest way to get this is in store
Try applying coconut oil, it'll take the white stain away. You will need to reapply every few weeks though. I believe some LV locations repair bags ( hand sanitizer stains), it's a new service being provided due to so many canvas bags damaged during the pandemic.

Ok... no guarantee that it’s gonna work for your case but let me share what I have done with my LV canvas wallet. At the beginning of this pandemic I was getting q paranoid and actually sprayed alcohol on my wallet (as I used alcohol wipes with it and it was ok), but then the alcohol concentration of the spray must have been so much higher than the wipes I used and white spots appeared on the canvas, as if the alcohol reacted with the coating of the canvas. It wasn’t popping or anything, just white spots so I thought probably I can fix it by evening out the colouration of the canvas by “glossing” the entire canvas surface all over. I happened to have a Mentholatum lip gel at home, which with my limited knowledge in chemistry I thought was not reactive. So I smeared the gel thoroughly and then wiped any excess away with a barely wet towel a few times. The canvas totally recovered in my case as if nothing happened.

I did hear about the restoration with the "glossing" too but might try the gel first since the restoration seems a little intense for a new bag. @helloxluxury call the customer service line! They can send requests to stores across the country that have the item available. They’ll email you asking if you’re still interested and if you are, they’ll send you a link to the lv website that allows you to order the item. I did that today and got my hands on the Pochette accessories Damier Azur . It’s not always guaranteed though. If they don’t get a chance to view your request before they sell out of the item then you won’t get a response. Usually it takes up to 48hrs for them to get back to you.
Tips for hard to get items: Call the lv customer service number. Ask them if they have it available to order through their internal stock & if they don’t, they can send requests to the stores that have them available. They will then reach out to you within 48 hrs (as long as the item is still in stock) and email you a link to order the item. I’ve done that a few times & it’s worked every time. That’s how I was able to get my Palm Springs mini, Multi pochette, & Pochette Accessories in Damier Azur .

I received an LV piece with the ribbon wrapped around the envelope. i don’t really care about the ribbon I just want my piece to be in pristine condition.

No problem!! I wouldn’t rely on putting your phone in there. It’s really good enough for credit cards or something more flat since the pocket itself is super flat. I can measure it when I get a chance and get back to you but I’d say I’m almost 90% sure it’s too small 😆
I have the DE and Epi pochettes, I finally decided buy the monogram. The first one I ordered had a weird dip in middle of the bottom, I will be returning that one. I was lucky enough to find another one a few days after. Did you try non alcoholic baby wipes on your pochette?
Oh congrats on managing to get a second PA!! That is so rare and hard to get! I haven't tried that yet, but I recently got some cleansing wipes so I'm going to try that out! 😊💕

OMG the hand sanitizer!! The worst! If you haven't pointed out the sanitizer spots I honestly wouldn't have known! I want the pochette accessoires but its so hard to find and im not buying it preloved either.. I'm going to be waiting patiently.. My time will come LOL 🙇🏻♀️

I didn’t try anymore ways to remove it but apparently coconut oil works to remove! I’ve just left it since it isn’t as noticeable. Wallet is the flap coin purse I believe.
No I haven't, I'll definitely give that a try. I read on the bag forum to use olive oil on the canvas, and I did that but nothing really changed! I'm just glad it didn't get on the vachetta leather. Thanks for the comment!! 😊
