Great comparison, thanks. I think I prefer my vintage PA - the first designer bag I ever bought, in 2002. I purchased the keyring extender for the strap to make it easy to wear on the shoulder. That’s one advantage of the newer one - the strap is a good length.

I have a vintage as well and a new one, I hardly use my vintage because with time the D-Ring turned silver, it bothers me so much 😢

Hi, have you tried sending to LV for repairs? The D-rings are actually very easy and affordable to replace.
