Great video! You were very informative! I usually purchase my bags myself. With the exception of my mommy. My boyfriend bought me this metis long long ago and it had the tassel on the bag from according to you was the original generation. Glad you cleared that up for me. Whew! I know deep down he would never deceive me. He has never bought me a replica. I noticed when they bought it out of retirement it had no tassel. I was like WHAT THE! Lol Anyway everyone loves it. For some reason this did not do it for me when it first came out so did not purchase. When the rose empriente was released l fell in love with the leather and color. After carrying that bag just once l knew that the style was amazing and was lucky enough to add the mono to my collection. Now l find myself reaching for the mono metis more than any other. Also just purchased the pochette accessoires in mono and love that l can use the strap from metis on rainy days, really makes my collection usable and versatile ❤️

Hi Jerusha! I love my PM! Was not thrilled about the price here in🇨🇦when I purchased it (being an all canvas bag). It has worked so well for me though and I especially love the zipper pocket in the back. I can fit my 6S plus perfectly In that pocket and if my phone rings I don't actually have to open and go inside the main part of the purse to get. My fav bag😍❤️Love your vids xx
Hi Jerusha, Im glad you are enjoying your pochette metis and still get giddy feeling when you talked about it you were my inspiration why I bought mine .Anyways unfortunately I can't say the same thing as my Pochette metis is starting to have glazing issue around the flap and vachetta handle which is extremely disappointing as I just purchased this 4 months ago. I am planning to go to LV George street to see what they can do to fix it. I just hope that will fix with no cost at all. Pochette metis is such a beautiful bag but I just hope that it can hold up a little longer.
great review - I had it, two different versions, but unfortunately the canvas still has all the problems in so many bags that I couldn't keep it - I so love it but I can't be thinking about the bag when I move around, but it is so gorgeous!

I LOVE this bag but I'm on PM #3...hoping third times a charm! My first two had glazing issues within the first 6 months with minimal use. I had to wait for this last replacement about 8 weeks...demand is crazy for it! I almost took the store credit - here's to hoping I made the right decision.

i have this latest version of the PM as well and love it, BUT i am HATING the strap. it's stiff and doesn't look good no matter what i do, or how i wear it. is anyone else having problems with the strap or is it just me?

I am thinking about the pochette metis in empriente leather noir. The weather here in Canada is not kind on vechetta leather. What do you think? I'm planning to purchase the Pochette Metis in reverse. Can someone tell me if that has also been redesigned so that the canvas is softer so the glazing is not a problem. In the reverse it seems the lighter colored canvas will be facing the front facing there by being the piece that is continually bending as you open the flap.

If you were to try to fix the canvas of a bag. Last ditch before throwing out. What would you do? Maybe a cobbler would have a solution? If not, maybe Sugru? And maybe slap a patch on top to hide the repair?
enjoy.the.silence, I don't have anything that's cracked. But I've seen a cracked bag on RU-vid, and I've even seen cracked bags for sale on ebay. Have you looked up Sugru? Because I don't think you have, since you didn't offer an opinion on whether or not it could repair a crack. It won't look pretty, but I think Sugru might hinder a crack from ripping more.

Jerusha, are the balls in your s-lock starting to chip? I have the empreinte pm which I've only had since the middle or march and the balls are already starting to show the silver colour underneath the gold coating. I don't know whether this is considered general wear and tear or would you say it is a fault with my bag?
Regan Wilson I saw a video where the person's plastic coating was completely gone. She brought it to LV's attention and they repaired it for free. Her bag was recently purchased.
Thank you for such a great job with the review. I purchased the pochete metis today in Melbourne (Chadstone) however, I have to wait for 4-5 weeks to be delivered since it is a very popular bag. I actually went to chanel first and was debating if I will get a mini classic flap, but then again I needed to wait more than a month. I was honestly a little disappointed with the new pieces of chanel bags especially the WOC lines coz they didn't look as luxurious compared to LV pieces and I was really excited to finally get my first chanel but yeah, sad face empty handed and I went straight to LV shop and ordered the metis which looks amazing...

M.A.V. I was just going to ask if an iPad mini or kindle paperwhite can slide in, too. If so, this would be my everyday work bag. Would be so easy to carry around on day to day basis. In Greece now, and trying to see if I should get out here as opposed to US, savings-wise.

EddaElid, Thank you! Sara01977, I have seen other reviews where they fit an iPad mini. I have the iPad pro 9.7 which is bigger than the mini. I'm guessing mine wouldn't fit but yours would! good luck on your purchase :)
