Hey everyone! So I sent my Pouchette Accessoires to be repaired sometime ago. I am just pissed that LV doesn't value their costumers all the same. Here is what I am dealing with.

They definitely pick and choose what to charge. My wife just had her vintage pochette repaired. She needed a new zipper pull and leather tab. They quoted her $60, the zipper pull was apparently complementary. Took 5 months to receive back. They gave her a Louis Vuitton box, and dustbag. To our surprise they changed out a brand new zipper all together along with a new zipper pull, all new D rings and tab. Also surprised that they did not charge more?! .. but I feel like it’s unfair that some people are quoted way more.. also this repair quote was done entirely online, not in store. Her leather tab is sealed but the “ France” stamp was a bit light, like they didn’t press the stamp hard enough at the end where the letter E is.. happy that they did more to her bag than expected but also feel the quality has gone way down and quoted prices are random. Sorry you had to go through all that. Definitely keep on them, especially for what you paid!

Definitely call them. Your hard earned money. I would look into Coach. They’re coming back with some beautiful pieces! Hard to resist & definitely more affordable than LV (especially with their horrible changes & quality)...and then they have the nerve to raise prices again!!!!!

They did that because they won’t change the original items to the bag. They keep the repairs to the original model

Did you call your SA and tell her they didn't give you the longer strap ? Girl heck no, I would take that crap back. Yes it is a big deal cuz they keep having glazing issues. It doesn't matter how much you paid. It should be done right period......I know you don't want to be without it. But it needs to be done right girl. Oh hell yes send it back to them. DO NOT let them get away with that after you paid your money NO NO NO NO.....send it back ASAP. Louis Vuitton does stuff like this is cuz people continue to buy their stuff. They figure because they carry the LV name people will just take their BS and continue to shop with them. I don't shop with them. Girl Coach has it going on now, so my coins are going to them. Great quality items and great CS. That is what I will pay for and for a lot lot lot less money.

The way the tab is stitched is how they were done back then, I have the same old model too and that's how it is, new and when it was repaired. the tabs were a different shape and were narrower at the top than the ones today so they don't stitch over the zipper fabric as much, its annoying as it will curl up again, but I find its worse on the underside. hope they give you an answer!

Your story is why I don't buy Louis Vuitton. I won't be purchasing any more luxury brands. They are not worth my time and money..Bally of Switzerland is the only brand I trust. Its minimal and rather affordable. But people like those tacky logos and they put up with the kind of sh*t you did with LV. For me, NO THANK YOU! You were disrespected by LV and you want to give them more of your money. You need to rethink this.

How did it all end up? Did you call them back? What a mess! I’ve had repairs done but luckily i was able to pick up in store and inspect it first before accepting.

Absolutely not acceptable. Terrible service from Louis Vuitton. What did you end up doing? I hope you returned it to have it fixed. I would of returned it.

The bag is fine everything at lv is hand made so it’s never perfect that bag will last forever if you take care of it .... it will not come apart and if it does then you have a case with them and they should repair it for free if that tab comes apart :)

i bought one wallet from LV. The inside lining started to peel and the glazing cam undone. I brought it to LV and because I didn't have a receipt, they couldn't do anything about it. Never will I purchase a piece of shit LV. They obviously have quality issues.

? You wouldn't need a receipt, all transactions are saved on their system.

Girl if you buy pre loved and you are not in the system for buying through them…good luck because they do not treat you the same. Customers that buy through them get better customer service period.
