The speedy is a great LV first bag along with the neverful. I bought it 2.5 yrs and still in great condition..no wear/tear, no discoloration on the hardware. It is a must have for me. Great review.

I have the exact same speedy B and have had it for almost a year. It’s definitely a classic and I love mine and will forever have it in my collection. Mine has the tarnishing on the bag’s hardware too. I use Cape Code polishing metal cloths to shine mine right up and it gets rid of the tarnishing, albeit, temporarily. Makes it look brand new. I love the look of the luggage tag on yours 💕

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I ended up purchasing the very same bag :D I have the speedy 30 in monogram but found that sometimes it feels a bit big if I'm just running errands. So I took a peek at the store and it can actually fit my stuff. Been taking it everywhere now. I especially like the fact that you don't have to worry if it suddenly rains. Just wipe it off and it'll be fine. Thanks for the review :)

Loved your review May! I totally agree with you. I have Speedy B 25 for 6 years after a Speedy 30 for less than a year and will never regret that decision. She is my ride or die, especially when traveling. 🥰😘

I love seeing you style this bag. I have been considering going into LV and trying it on and it's all your fault 😂. I think I would get mine in leather. I find it hard to pair the Damier Ebene with my bright bold style. I love the size and how slouchy it is.

I absolutely love my classic speedy 25 in the monogram print it’s been my everyday carry since I bought it great review and yes I have noticed that their are more canvas items available in store and online but I heard there is a price increase coming between august and September ☺️❤️❤️

Hi there, great review. I have the speedy 30 and absolutely love her however, I find it so annoying that I have to constantly polish the padlock as it is always tarnishing. I did get another padlock from LV because of this problem but it still happens. Shame that they dont supply better quality for this 😒

I held out so long on getting a speedy and kicking myself for it. I just bought the same speedy about 2 months ago and it’s by far my favorite LV purse in my collection. Now I’m thinking about the monogram version before the price increase🤔

Hi!! I’ve been watching your videos non stop and just got my first speedy b 25! I’m in looove! But I do have a question… I know your hardware is tarnishing differently but are your lobster clasps a different color from your zipper? My metals are different colors and feel. I’m debating if I should try to find another with matching metals but I’m not sure if the effort is worth it since it seems to be a very common issue? Thank you for your videos!

I have the same bag without the bando … it’s my rainy day bag ! I try not to use vachetta when it’s raining and it closes which many of my LV do not. As for hardware, they just don’t make them like they used to ! Take a vintage bag, you can get the hardware to look new with some brasso but these aren’t brass so 🙄

haha! Love the rain bag idea. I used to have it in the DA print & was terrified of taking it out because where I live is sunny one second & the other is pouring. With this one I never have a worry a world! 🤗 I agree with you on the hardware, even though its nothing tooo bad imo its still sad to see it tarnish so quickly. ☹️ Thanks for watching! ❤️

Glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the "new" speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. How does the matte finish holding up on your speedy b 25 couple yrs compared to your speedy 30? Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!

Hi, Being completely honest the leather has held up incredibly! I have gotten rained on with this bag on & I just wipe it off w a paper towel & we are good to go 😍 This is really such a fantastic piece.

@@mrsleyva thanks so much for replying! And so glad to hear that theres no water mark on your matte leather even after being worn in the rain!! 🙌🏻. An LV SA told me to be mindful when applying hand lotion before touching the handle/strap. Have you experience any marks from this?

I actually paired it with a dress for a destination wedding, (we were on the trip at the same time of the wedding so actually worked out) & I agree its not 'ideal' but didnt look thattt bad 😅 LOL The small sized helped a bit

I honestly think the 30 is another great option. I don't think it would look bad crossbody and feel like if you want to do the short shoulder option it sort of looks like a Neverfull MM 🙂

Hi, glad you enjoyed. It is soft & can sag. However since the 25 is pretty ‘small’ once you put a couple things inside it doesnt have much sagging to be honest. The bigger ones do have a bit more. Hope this helps😊

I think it's mainly in damier ebene on the leather I have monogram use it like crazy for 2 years no damage just darkening of vachetta

No it’s not because you bumped into something, it’s because of poor quality. My piping started peeling within 5 months of purchase with a minimal use. They gave me another one but it happened again. I just don’t understand why people love ❤️ to take the blame for poor quality material and worship a brand.

@@mrsleyva You would not believe how many bags I had issues with. I’ve had issues with Empriente Artsy, speedy b 25 DE, Empriente speedy 30, Empriente zippy wallet, Sarah wallet, pochette Metis twice, delightful mm almost every piece I bought had issues. They exchanged it for I don’t feel like spending thousands of dollars for a cheap and poor quality. I take care of my bags, my Chanel bag purchased years ago still in pristine condition. But people should stop to take the blame for poor quality products. It sends the wrong message to this brands!!!

Again, Im sorry to hear that. I think we all experience different quality issues but that pretty much applies with any brand. I have heard horror stories about other luxury brands as well. So I personally feel like it is just a case by case with the pieces. I have had many LV bags for years & they have held up very well. It just turns out that the hardware on the Speedy B isnt the best, but for me that doesnt take away from the fact that I love this style of handbag.

@@mrsleyva I’m not saying you shouldn’t love your bag, but it’s absolutely WRONG to take the blame for a bag that’s poorly made. Sadly, people don’t have any standards and they worship a brand and they are accepting the faulty of this brands with grace just like yourself. They even tend to defend the defective bags that this companies are producing. Some people like to carry a trash bag with a brand name, some of us want quality and well made bags.

Just to clarify, neither I or my viewers ‘worship’ handbags. These reviews are just to share my thoughts on the bags I own. As previously mentioned, everyone has a different experience. You’re taking the videos context too literal. I said the scuff might be my fault bc I do place the bag on the floor & run into things from time to time because I dont baby any bag. It doesn’t mean that the bag is poorly made, the same thing will happen to a Chanel lambskin classic flap. 🤷🏻‍♀️
