Love these bags. I own both. I can honestly say that your canvas on the Speedy will get darker with use and time. Exposure to sunlight will make it darker like your Alma BB. I know that from experience so don’t worry too much. My Alma bb used to be the same colour as your Speedy but now it’s the same colour as your Alma !

I would 100% return it. If the color is bothering you now, it’s most likely going to continue to annoy you. When I ordered my DE speedy from the LV website, I had to send it back for a new one. There was wrinkling on the strap that goes down the side of the bag and I knew I would continue to bother me so I had to send it back. Luckily they didn’t give me any issues. I hope it all works out for you!

Does the checkerboard pattern on the side of your bag match up with the checkerboard pattern on the front of the bag? Mine doesn’t like up perfectly and don’t know whether to return it xx

Go to LV and ask them to bring out 2 or 3 models and pick the best one for you. Also the stitching isn’t going to be EXACT on everything because it’s all guided by hand or sewn by hand. There are variations in canvas depending on the time of year. Just like Chanel bags and the caviar leather. Some are shinier some are more matte, some are softer some are rougher and more textured. Also, canvas gets darker the more it’s exposed to sun. Ultimately, you’re gonna be the owner of the bag and you need to get something that makes you happy. Fuck what other people say. It’s YOU wearing the bag at the end of the day.

I completely agree with you I like the darker color too! I got the speedy b 30 about 6 months ago and I’m not happy with the color. I do love the bag but not loving the color! 😏

My never fall in my speedy 35 are the dark colors like your Alma I just got a 25 I just told you and it looks more like yours like the peanut butter color I actually prefer the peanut butter color I think it looks nicer in the 25 for some reason I think sometimes the darker brown looks more fake because you’ll never see a replica look like peanut butter they usually have a darker purple tin

Take your Alma with you when you go buy LV so you can get the color as close as possible to what you like.

Im surprised they would still sell you an older model because the chaps on the newer ones are also puffy instead of flat. I've got the speedy b25 in DE aswell so that's another thing I noticed but overall amazing bag 💕 hope you can get it sorted!

I think the bag looks beautiful. The only thing that would concern me is that it already has scratches on it. I think most of the speedies are that color brown now. The canvas should darken as it’s exposed to light and such. I know the older they get the darker they look. I don’t know how long you’ve had your alma as I just stumbled upon your channel. At any rate, if you’re not happy with it I’m sure you’ll find something that you would like to exchange it for. Hope you had a merry Christmas 🎄

I have the monogram in this print in the size 35 I just got the 25 or three of them are bandoliers when I left the store and got home I looked for the 25 and I called the store and they told me that you’re not able to see the 25 does that mean they don’t have it I’m kind of confused you said you saw yours I definitely do not see mine he said you’re not supposed to see it

I also like the darker brown but now lv is making the speedys that lighter shade. I went to two lv stores and they were all that light brown.

Omg you sound like me because when I got my never full and again I already had three of them I’m obsessed with the same print you are so I have all three number fours and two of them are the GM’s in the Azor is the NM so I want it the Ebene in the mm so I purchased one after Thanksgiving which I already had the same print in the gym but it’s so big and it had all little pulls also in the flurry and there was raw pieces going around the piping just like the side of yours I took it back two days later because it’s an hour drive there and an hour drive back I am a smoker I smoked outside of my house I never smoke inside they told me they couldn’t return it because it smelled like cigarette smoke but they would put new straps on they weren’t sure about the piping but it would take 15 weeks because of Christmas coming up I’m like I’m not leaving my bag that I just bought for 15 weeks then I noticed a little mark at the bottom never use the bag I was flipping out I went through a few bags with my essay for crazy about the straps on some of them in the way the piping split near the date code I don’t like that so when she showed me the bag I took the pouch was laying flat at the bottom as soon as I got home I noticed a little mark it was like someone put their stuff in it and they were saying it wasn’t like that I said to the girl we never looked at the bottom I was more worried about the piping and the straps so I didn’t leave it there I went back three weeks later by the speedy 25 I took the never full back in and showed the manager a different one he said he couldn’t return it because of the mark at the bottom I said I never made the mark I said the first manager said it smelled like smoke so now you’re saying this so bottom line they didn’t return it they told me to bring it back after the new year in the replace The handles and maybe the piping in the price increase went up when I bought my GM’s both of them they were I believe 1440 no it was 1600 the speedy went up to 1750 for the 25

Did you end up bringing his backpack I know it’s an old video I actually just bought the same bag today I already have it in the 35 but it was so big I got the 25 today and everything was beautiful on it but I got another never fall in the same print which I already had the GM but it was too big for me so I got to MM a few weeks ago in the same thing with my stitching in the flurry it was like stick it out like yours so I know what you mean and I tried returning it two days later it was made in the US And I do smoke I know it’s a bad habit but I didn’t use the bag and I had a cigarette on the way there which is a long drive two hours back-and-forth they told me they couldn’t return it because smell like cigarettes I literally had one cigarette in the truck with it and it was in the box but they said they would replace the handles but it would take 15 weeks because of the holiday so I didn’t want to do that so they told me to bring it back after Christmas and it will probably be only four weeks but I can’t believe they won’t return it I took it back two days later stitching was terrible and the bag went up since I bought it when I bought it it was 1460 for the GM and it was almost 1600 for the MM3 weeks ago I think I purchased it or two now I just got the new bandolier today the 25 and it was 1740 with tax I want to say it was cheaper three weeks ago when I was in there do you know if they had another price increase I thought she said it was 1550 or less she was talking about the neverfull

I have the same bag in size 35 also the bandolier and you’re right it does look fake for some reason I know it’s not but the coloring is off

I was told by my SA the canvas gets darker as you use it and with time, as with vachetta.

The color is definitely off. I bought mine in August in Harrolds Square and it looks like your color is really off. Let us know if you decide to return it.

Did you get your bag online? If so I would recommend get it in a store. You can always get some advice from SA and make your mind strongly. I also get my LV bags and wallets whenever I get a chance to go Europe or UK. Price is way different especially you get tax return.
