Love the video but it’s a no for me. I purchased the original T26 for $430 and I just can’t wrap my brain around spending the coins on this one. Also, I feel like the original is a classic to keep or pass down to a family member especially with the ridiculous prices on the resell market. Ima stick besides my vintage T26😂.

Love the new version with the black leather. I can't believe they doubled the price though. Like you mentioned, they could have given us the d-rings since it is the price of a bag now...lol. Great video and thanks for the comparison and mod shots as well.

According to Foxylv they will be releasing another toiletry that actually has a strap with it. So it will officially be a crossbody bag. I do love the monogram with the black trim, it looks really good.

I heard that on somebody else’s channel as well they will be releasing a PT26 with a cross body strap. That will be great but I can imagine the price is going to be 1800 or more. Thank you so much for watching. 😘🥰

I think the whole 'reinvention' of this item was simply to justify charging more for it. It would have taken a least a couple years for the original T26 to reach this price point and would not have been justifiable.

I guess they say since everybody was using it for a bag anyway they added some card slots and upped the price.. lol I ain’t mad at em. I like it. If they add a strap it’s gonna be 3k. Ugh.

I believe I got my toiletry pouch 1 year ago from Louis for 370€ (400$) (I live in Europe). I am honestly shocked that it cost almost $1200 with tax... that is triple how much I paid for it a year ago... LORD HAVE MERCY

Thank you for your honestly review. I just bought this bag a few days ago. It is my first piece of Louis Vuitton item. I was excited because I been looking for this for a while now, but was always out of stock. After watching a video before yours, the person was saying the black leather on the side will start striping at some point. Now, I am conflicted…should I keep it or return it?? I don’t want the black striping 😩

Pass from me. I have the alma world tour in mono/black combination and a few other LV smaller bags which I find is more than enough. I have the toiletry 26 original and to me it’s either a clutch or a toiletry bag so I don’t like adding a chain to it and dressing it up, have other mono bags for that purpose. This revamped toiletry bag seems obsolete for me.

Great comparison video🥰. I’m sure they have a team that watches RU-vid videos constantly to get ideas to design and accesssorize the next bags/pouches. Next they’ll have one with a stap sellinging for 2,300. They need to pay RU-vidrs a comission, they didn’t come up with these ideas themselves👏🏾. I purchased my Toiletry 26 back in 2016 Jan 14th , I paid $446.13, and its in great condition.

I received mine today and I just love it. I missed out on the old version bc I was tripping over the last price ($765 ish??). I actually love the heavy feeling of this one bc of the leather. It feels really substantial and structured. I love that I can add cards and cash and essentials and wear as a clutch without SLGS. I will still convert it to a crossbody because I think a black leather or guitar strap looks great with it. Or even the bandolier strap with black leather. For me it was worth purchasing now, especially if LV makes one with a strap - I KNOW I won’t want to pay THAT price 🤑! TFS

Love the intro. I have the original T26 for about nine months and never used it. To be honest I fell into the hype, but hopefully I will use it when I travel again. I love the new version of the T26 but the price is a killer. Also, Gucci has one similar to the T26 and way more affordable. Great video and thanks for sharing.

Love it! I like this version alot better than the original version! BTW i think that piece is made in USA sis. All USA pieces say "Louis Vuitton Paris" on it if im not wrong. If its made in other places it will say "Louis Vuitton Made In France" or Louis Vuitton Made In Italy...or Made in Spain

The price is shocking me😱😱😱...I got one from last year just half price of this!! I paid less than 500$ for sure i think😅😅😅. And you know what, they make it as a cluth, has a card pocket inside!! Et voilà!!!....So, ppl who ever said its tacky or ppl who make t26 as a cluth , crossbody bag or shoulder bag cuz they can't buy an expensive one blablabla...i hate a ppl like that..... they should see now that LV has plan for this, to discontinued before and put the price higher!! You can probably take it to a Louis Vuitton store and ask them if they can do a repair on it and if they say to you sorry we can’t repair it because this is not a part of our collection then it’s not real. You cannot take it there and ask them is this real or fake. They will definitely know.

Definitely should have purchased the toiletry 19 or the 26 while I had the chance! I don’t think it’s worth the 1,088.00 dollar price tag, I will be on the look out for alternatives.
