To Louisa Harland: Thank you for such a wonderful show. Obviously Derry Girls is the collaborative effort of many, but to me you are over and over the very best part. You brought me smiles, laughter and tears when I needed them the most. Thank you

At 5:08 it’s so adorable how Louisa was getting a bit nervous to hear if the video was gonna be critical about her accent and how relieved she was to hear it was praised 🥺❤️

I love Derry Girls, and I am a middle aged Aussie woman. The show has universal themes. Growing up, enjoying bands you love, fighting with your family, going to school, etc. Not to mention the bloody head prefect. The Irish phrases are acted in such a way that you can understand what they all mean. I constantly tell my loved ones to “catch yourself on”. The 90s are my favourite decade for music. The music used by the show resonates with me. Lots of reasons why it works.

Love Derry Girls and Louisa Harland as 'Orla'! My son-in-law worked with Woody Harrelson too - and went to a pub with him 🤣 He has the same opinion of him.

Loving this show from way across the pond. (USA) Not only is Louisa a brilliant comedic actress; she's also beautiful. I grew up in Boston and spent some time in Ireland so she embodies my definition of the 'girl next door'. The world needs more funny ladies like her.
