Wow! I hope the industry will valorate this girl. She is AMAZING!!! A incredible soulful, powerful, classic unique voice! No the crap they play in the radio nowadays.
She's going down the road for so many artists of today, currant music is just not good enough to cope with their voices, this song is suited to her perfectly because it's from an era where big voices were given big songs with power behind them. the worst thing that could happen is someone decides to ruin her career by giving her an indie or clubby nothingness reject song. it's a shame that modern music and auto-tune is killing off so many artists.
Amen brother, well stated. Why is it the X factor was able to recognize her strengths and guide her accordingly? My fear is Simon Cowell / Synco records will kill her career like they did Leno Lewis opting to focus on groups like Little Mix and One Direction. She needs to drop that label and move to one that will better guide her towards songs that fit her voice like power ballads and RnB!
Basically it's been bad song choice, not sure if its exactly her fault or the label leading her in the wrong direction. Her magnificent voice needs to be exploited, this performance shows why. Trying to turn her into something she's not is really wrong and she will not have the career she should have if the label keep encouraging her to make those bland songs she has been given so far.
This girl is by far the greatest voice , performer and classiest person to come out of any talent show..she just sand a heart song .. my God she nailed it. She did as a good of a job live as the heart album. She is a super super star.. and with all her talents she Is even gifted with stunning beauty.
Bb Singsss Yes, I am aware she won X-Factor but that was 2 years ago. I figured with her talent, looks and Cowell's blessing that she would be more of a household name by now.
LOL !! having a good voice is only part of what it takes ... great song writers, sell their great songs to the very best top performers ... it's a catch 22 situation .. to get to the top, one must write their own music or have the support of someone who does write music, Louisa has neither.
louisa has hands down one of the best voices i have ever heard, she won for a reason she needs new managment etc or something to give her the opportunity she deserves

Another Super Classic from my bestest Lousia Johnson!! My hair stood on my neck throughout she sang, just Wowwwwwwwwww! This girl is just the only one whom I knew could do justice to my all time favorite and one of the most difficult of songs too, but as usual so effortlessly. Oh Lousia again you smashed it like only you could.. AMAAZING!!! And yep isn't she just soooo wonderful and boy stunning too ;) Truly a POWERHOUSE!
I expected this to be MUCH better ... I think she could do much better with it, she has the voice but her rendition here pales in comparison to Ann Wilson.

I love Louisa Johnson. Saw the entire competition and was awe struck throughout. This is probably the best cover of Alone I've ever heard, but I'd have to say (and not by much) Ann still owns it.
Right on Crashman, Louisa needs the kind of representation she deserves. She has one of the best voices I've ever heard and needs to have producers and managers that will get her to the top where she belongs. Shes a Diva and deserves super star recognition. I hope they don't mess things up for her.

YTube HEART LIVE 70'S FIRST-SECOND-LAST VENUE OF ALL TIME. If she worked out a "TRIBUTE - NOT COVER!!! Such a great voice and her record label producers are wasting it on pop pablum and techno dance tracks instead of the type of music that showcases her voice. She was better off when she was in charge of her own song selection. Trust your instincts, Louisa. Fire your producers who are trying to turn you into a generic pop tart. You have an AMAZING voice. This song showcases it. Your recordings, so far, do not.

When I was younger, I was a keyboard performer in a small rock group. The problem is always that you have to either write - or find & cover - the material that the public wants to hear. We were a talented group but you never heard of us because we never got the right material to hit it big. You might not remember Charlie Rich, the "Silver Fox," but if you do, you remember him for his hits. I met him and had a long talk with him. He lived the life of "my address is the license plate on the bus" for twelve years before one of his songs hit big enough for people to start taking him seriously. Louisa is young, beautiful, and highly talented, but her career needs that big hit that will get the "good" writers to start sending her good songs. The idea that she is under contract with a label only means they need to give her work. But they might be more interested in getting some of their "crap" songs off of THEIR inventory backlog than they are in getting her the songs that are in her wheelhouse. So she might languish for a while until someone sees the light. Hang in there, Louisa.
