I didn't enjoy Marla on this, but 227 was different, I enjoyed her on 227..and it's quite amazing how she is older than George but looked like she could be his daughter here.

She was fine on 227 but that Jackie person took over that show and overshadowed everyone else. And I didn't like her. So I much prefer Marla on the Jeffersons.

I like her in both shows. Sometimes on 227, I felt like she was a little too much of a helicopter parent to Brenda. I remember when Brenda had that fast food job and Mary was pestering her even at work.

@@sollyparker3947 The personality of her character, Mary was different than her character of Florence. Marla was excellent in both roles, but it's normal for people to favor one character over the other. 😉
