Very nice finds gentlemen. Love them seated half dimes. That's on my bucket list as well as a Barber dime/quarter. Found me an 1877 Seated quarter an 1854 Braided Hair large cent and two Standing Liberty quarters. Seems to me, there's a lot more where those silvers came from. Happy Huntin'
I work as a meat cutter in a very high volume store here in North Central Texas. It's a very tense, stressful time and we catch a lot of anger from people. PLEASE just be kind to each other, treat each other with respect. We ALL are going through this. God love and take care of you all.
Id love to go detecting with yall. I go to new orleans a couple times a year. 2 yrs ago they had alot of side walks and roads throughout the french quarter tore out all the way to the dirt....i want my detector on me sooo bad. Hope someone else detected it
There was a lot of stuff found during that period of digging in the French quarters. A lot of the dirt was Hdro Excavated out and dumped at fill sites. I was doing training as renting the equipment for them during that time and I did see a lot of guns and Jewlery found. One guy I know supervisor of one of the teams found a rolex watch and several guns. Few stashes of coins were found but it was very dangerous digging though the muck. There were hypodermic needles found that got mixed in the mud from people throwing stuff in the drains. Wild times.
