Park Hill is part of my work area. Ain't no joke back in there. Once the sun goes down you better get outta town! We've had several homicides there in the last few weeks.
What does her being white have to do with it? So if she was black and lived in woodsmill, she would be seeing people killed and other crimes but if she's white and lived in the same complex, she wouldn't have noticed crime?
I guess since I am from and still live in Louisville Portland neighborhood I don’t think of my city as dangerous or ghetto it’s interesting to see what people from other places see us as
ITS IN BAD SHAPE. I travel all over.. trust its bad, so sad i grew up in SOUTHSIDE - no jobs, lockdowns.. yeah its miserable. the worst part.. some areas look TODAY the same way they did 20 years ago.. super delayed growth. bad bad bad.

7:37 So, I used to live in one of those old apartments when I was a toddler and there will forever be a soft spot in my heart for them. They were known as the Americana Apartments at the time but they're called Heritage Green now because the owners want to sound hip or some shit. Anyway, those buildings are beautiful and some of those front entrances are stately as hell and I hope they're never torn down. I drove by them the other day and saw kids out playing here and there---just like the good old days.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Kentucky rite beside us Richmond VA is the capital of the south ne is Philly and new York and Florida is considered the east. And ga and nc and SC is too we just south east
I feel louisville need alot of improvement and Care the people because of owners care their business and development on their own does not care about the resident and the people
Indi’s! Should have stopped in. I’ve been to most of those places as a home health nurse. In the day time, like you, but never felt threatened. They look cleaner now than in the past.
Those hoods do look quiet. Looks rough a lot of it, but no people standing outside in huge groups it didnt look like. Besides those nice palaces of course.
Louisville had 170 homicides and almost 600 shootings in 2020. In 2021 we have already doubled the rate at this same time last year. Louisville is far from safe, or quiet. Despite the lockdowns, louisville had a massive increase in homicides.
Clearly this dude has no clue what he is talking about. Lol. In sooo many ways. It’s always someone who lives elsewhere speaking on stuff they know nothing about.
In the 90s Arcade mid 2000 they still was getting busy boa..the Mexicans got deep ova there after it was gentrified.lil girl just got shot over there the other day smh

Aye bro can you drive through some hoods in Columbia, South Carolina? I'm from there and it's been some years since I moved and I dont remember what street it was but if you drove through some I might be able to see it one more time. That would be amazing!
Now next time you’re in Louisville you should take your viewers on a riding tour of places like Cherokee Gardans, Cherokee Circle, BONNYCASTLE (Cherokee Park) MONKINGBIRD VALLEY, INDIAN HILLS, Glenview neighborhoods, PROSPECT, Anchorage, Strathmoor ect.. 🤠🥸👍🏼
I really had a short trip. To be honest i only went to st matt once while i was up there we barely left the west side of 65 no memories in the nice side for me.
So you think the man needs to live in that shit neighborhood to filmed or put it on his Chanel so we can decide for ourselves whether to drive through there and be depress or take a scenic route. Thanks to Jose I’m taking the scenic route you can stay in your mom basement criticizing this good man.
Kentucky is in the top 5 for receiving money from the federal government & Kentucky is in the top 10 for paying the fewest taxes to the federal government. Where's the money going?
The majority of the crime in Louisville occurs West of I-65 which runs straight through the middle of the city. One thing about crime is that one person can cause many occurrences, so for example, for every 10 break-ins it's likely caused by 3-4 people. However, such a small group can give the greater majority of the location a bad name. There are many socio-economic factors that result in criminal behavior, but one of them is not racism. There are countless attempts from Jefferson County to revitalize the West end of the city but it's always negated by persistent criminal activity or lack of interest. You really got to root out the bad actors and bad behavior to see that side of the city grow and become better.
@@dustinsmith4198 I said the majority. How could you tell me I'm wrong? All you have to do is pull up LMPD's crime tracker to see I-65 is the dividing line and West of I-65 is where the majority of crime occurs..
