My earliest memory is when I was 6 years old, my mom was driving and said "I never want to get old." I turned and looked at her in confusion and said, "A lot of people don't get to become old. So you're lucky if you do." She just stared at me and said "Wow, I guess you're right."
I am guessing the reason the father wanted the dollhouse destroyed after He’s gone because worried that no one left to maintain the dollhouse in beautiful condition for His daughter. I am glad the cemetery is looking after the dollhouse. There is no limits to a parent’s love. Tender story🙏❤️ RIP
Anyone with even the minimum amount of morality would never consider doing such a thing. Even most general thieves wouldn't do that. It takes a special kind of lowlife to rob from the dead.
Rebecca Swilling-- Right?? It IS Very Sad, that Some Scumbag Vandals, decided to Destroy some of the Doll House' Original Pieces. 😡😣 What A Shame!! And the 6 year old little girl, Lova, her Dad is NOT Alive anymore, to see the Damage done!😞😢😥
Yes..basically, little Lova's toys were stolen! It is completely mind blowing that someone could be so heartless to take a little, deceased angel's toys..boils my blood!!!
Grave robbing has been around for thousands of years. Especially where people who were either of high standing or royalty who were often buried buried with thier worldly pocessions which is a magnet for grave robber. They're already lowlifes to steal from the dead but to steal from a child's grave is even worse.
I totally agree it's terrible that somebody would vandalize or steal from somebody's remaining memory I saw that these people were stealing these bronze world war II plaques off the side of headstones and melting them down and taking them into cashing in the bronze people are just sick
How aweful to rob from a grave , let alone a lil child , how beautiful this lil doll house , from the parents broken HEARTs he created this lil dollhouse for his daughter , rip All the family 🙏❤🥀🕊
It's sad the little girl was sick from birth. Like my Mama said, when things look bad, take a look around you. There's always somebody worse off. So glad the people moved her and the doll house to be with her parents.
I know it was just the light but it looked like the curtain closed as you approached. I think it is nice they are together and the house showed his love for his daughter. Thanks Lamont. for all you do.
Hi Lamont, that’s a lovely dolls house, for them all to be together, why do people have to be so cruel to vandalise a beautiful grave site, hope they go to hell. RIP 💐💐💐
This video bring tears. Bless her tiny heart, forever. Sad that there are fools around us who would do such things to a child's dollhouse especially while in site of her grave. Lamont, you are a good man.....thank you for your touching/thoughtful narrations!
That doll house is beautiful!!! Cudos to the people that replaced the toys. That's a beautiful marker for their daughter. May the family Rest in Peace. Thank you Lamont for doing this. This is the second dollhouse marker I have seen, on video. Are there more that anyone knows of??
AMEN! To that Lamont Peace and Blessings to you safe travels to you always ❤️. GOD Bless Their Souls CARES ALL PASSED HOME AT LAST FOREVER TO REJOICE THEY ARE ALL AT PEACE 🕊️🕊️ 🕊️
This is so awesome......glad they moved her instead of tearing down the dollhouse 🤗. There's another one bigger with a fireplace in Lanett Alabama at Oakwood cemetery. The little girl Nadine Earle's was shy of her 5th bday when she passed in 1933. It was supposed to have been her Christmas gift but became her buriel crypt. Thanks for all you do Lamont.....be safe out there 💗🕊️
I grew up not too far from this cemetery, when I was little, I recall one of my older sisters taking me to see this gravesite, needless to say it left a lasting impact on me and 50 years later I still remember seeing it like it was yesterday
I never understood why certain people will steal from a grave. There is nothing in a cemetery that I would want so bad as to steal it. That's just creepy to me🙂
I agree and so heartless too. In fort worth Texas at greenwood cemetery they have full on security all night and people will still sneak in and steal all the flowers on new graves, when my grandma passed we took most of the flowers home sadly because people are so terrible it's so sad 😢💔
They were most likely Antique Dolls by that stage and they most likely took them to sell as they would have been worth a lot of money to doll collectors. Scummy people. So very sad.
In 2006, I had a friend who was 16 at the time, and she stole a small stone statue of a dog over someone's grave in a small abandoned cemetery in Arkansas that we visited late at night sometimes just so she could put it in her room. She thought she was real badass blasting My Chemical Romance the whole way there and back as she did it, too. I watched her lie to her mom about how she found it when she was questioned about it. Yeah, we weren't friends for very long after that. Perhaps unsurprisingly, she was a backstabbing bitch in many other areas of her life, too. Some people are just hideously self-centered and petty as hell.
I had a friend whose daughter died and they kept stealing the toys and stuffed animals that her and her parents placed on her grave. The emotional toll it placed on them was horrible. Now she has just been trying flowers and they keep stealing them too. It's heartless.
Thank you sir for the stories and the way you respect those that have passed. I took my son through an old church cemetery and showed him the families and the graves of the young children that died . One family had their children die 1 after another, 4 of them never made it past 6 years old. It's better to go to a funeral or a cemetery then a house of feasting, because at least the living will take those things to heart.
I feel this doll house speaks to the forever love of parents for their child. Yes, they wanted the house gone after they passed. I feel the people saved it as a monument to love of children and families separated by death, and the joining of families in the forever Heaven. Peace, sweet family.
I never ever understand how can people stole from cemeterys no matter when I hope karma comes for does but it's so nice that her parents and she are together 🥰
I believe he wanted it torn down because, he probably thought no one would take care of it or do exactly what they did, steal from it, but I think he was happy the way things turned out in the end! May they R.I.P 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for bringing that up I am visually impaired and people look past me because of my impairments instead of talking to me and getting annoyed me You're one of the few people that actually understands that without going through it that's all that's awesome thank you and thank you for your videos
That last message that you said really hit home for me because, deep down, I am very stressed and, both days, I can't get out of bed, but you're absolutely right. I should embrace life for me while I'm healthy and able to do the stuff that I want to do.
I didnt know they had dollhouse graves until this video. Then I saw there are more videos so it is not uncommon. It's such a nice thing for parents to do for their kids especially Lova since she died so young and had health problems. It is good the dollhouse was not destroyed as it allows us to understand the full impact of Lova's death and how much her parents loved her. Hats off to her father who sounds like a tender and caring man.
I love and appreciate the kindness and passion you have, Lamont, in remembrance of souls passed, and sharing with us who cannot travel to see all you show us. I love you ...but don't worry, I'm 80yr old. 😍
What a beautiful story Lamont. A father's love. People are so cruel just evil stealing from a little girls grave. I do agree with you about mixed feelings not destroying the dollhouse yet the town's people in the end brought the family.together in death you can't say anything bad about that.
That is absolutely precious. You dear Lamont are correct. Take not one day for granted. We are only promised today. Bless you for all you do to honor the departed. Peace be with you 🙏🏼
Interesting story. I'm glad they decided to keep and update the dollhouse even if the father wanted it destroyed. I think he would be happy that it's still there today.
It has been several years since I visited this cemetery. I was pleasantly surprised to see a reinforced steel roof on the house. I do remember the thefts that took place there as I just lived a county away at the time. Thanks Lamont, for introducing this sweet girl's marker to your subscribers
Oh this is the second doll house grave you have covered. This is so heartbreaking. I simply cannot imagine how much sadness they felt. What wonderful parents. It’s an extremely disturbing story. God bless everyone.
I was suprised to hear that the daughter was originally buried else where. It was great that the daughter was then buried with her parents. A beautiful story.
Lamont thank you so much for this channel. I have a guy here painting today and he’s intrigued by this and the other Dollhouse grave in Alabama. He said when he gets home him and his wife are going subscribe to your channel. Thank you ☺️
