Of course it does. Brian was clearly a big part of Korn and you can tell how much of an influence his days in Korn had on this song. Weird how Korn completely changed their sound around the time Brian left, right? I meant no disrespect to Korn with my comment, but this is the way I would have preferred Korn to "evolve."
EP stands for "Extended Play." An EP is more than one song making it longer than a Single, and typically has about 3 or 5 songs on it, making it to short to be a full length album or LP which mean "Long Play." Sometimes record labels have EPs for bands to test out if people like their music, and sometimes bands put out EPs as a bit of a teaser to give people an idea of what their next full length album will sound like.
I'm with you man. Korn was there when I needed them and they still are. I'll always be a huge fan no matter what they sound like or do. And yeah this isn't that hard, but I was mainly talking about "Paralyzed". That song is beast. Can't wait to hear the whole album. And I will be buying the EP on Tuesday.
This song still hits so good 10 years later. These lyrics hit home for me so much more now having gone they my own battles since this songs release. All the power to anyone suffering these ailments, we have more strength to endure than we give ourselves credit for.
Supposedly, they are releasing a full length album later in 2012, but Brian said in one of his updates "new album coming out april 24". I got all stoked, only to find out it's an ep with 3 new songs. The hell..
I hate to say this, because I'm a huge Korn fan and always will be, but this is so much better then any of Korn's recent stuff. It's hard, heavy and just good music. Keep it up "Head"! I'm a fan of everything you've done and everything your doing now.
you may have forgotten but i'll remind you every Korn album is diffrent one way or another but it doesnt matter what people think of Korn the only opinion that matters to them is their FANS like me
How is this Love and Death featuring Brian "Head" Welch when Love and Death is the name of Brian's band? lol. I'm just saying all their song feature him naturally lol. Awesome song! And a great guy I had the pleasure of meeting him Easter Sunday!!!
I can't wait to purchase this CD at Lifeway. I can't get enough of this song. I love "Blind" and "Paralyzed" also. Brian is so amazingly talented, we have a super Christian artist...oh man this album will ROCK!
Head Played With Korn On May 5th~~~!!! One Step At A Time Maybe Hell Open For Them With Love An Death An Play Guitar In Their Set I Want Them All Back Together
I'd have to agree with you. Sounds like maybe he took some lessons and on some parts it sounds like he's using a voice pedal or something. Who knows? Sounds beast though.
I have no idea but I think he is testing it. Personally I think another name will suit the music better. I mean 'Head' is just awesome enough but whatever, his music is still raw =)
maybe you just hear better out of your left ear?? lol . . i'm being serious too, i hear better out of my left ear, mostly because when i was little i used walkman headphones for years that only worked on the right side and i always had it BLARING lol
lol ooooo the kid is wearing a gas mask! how unchristian! I mean really? You people are so close minded. I'm loving the new sound :) Brian is such an awesome person for getting off drugs, being there for his daughter, and doing something that he actually likes.
Maybe head doesn't want to take credit for making the band , its possible, that he puts "featuring" to show that...either that or he doesn't want to be associated with the band
Just curious on why its Love and Death featuring Brian "Head" Welch, does that mean its really not his band? Is he not the person who created the band? By now all KoRn fans know what Head has done.....just feel its unnecessary to put "featuring" in there.
