I've known my current husband since we meet in school during our 6th grade year. We have now been together for almost 23 years been married for 20 of those years and have 3 grown children-(23 year old daughter, 22 year old son at the end of this month, & our baby boy who will be 21 in August. We are also grandparents to a 7 year old granddaughter & a 2 year old grandson.

I just got married at 62 after being divorced for 12 years. My husband is 10 years older that me He was married for 42 years and I met him after his wife passed away. At church. Dated 3 weeks got married, he had 2 adorable little boys, I had a teenaged son, after 2 years we had a boy and girl together. I’m 10 years older than him. It’s been 20 years this year!
I'm 41 and dating and have been single for going on 8 years. I completely understand having the "right" one versus just anyone. I definitely operate that way.
I met my husband online. We have been together 12 years...married for 6. My second marriage and his first. When I met his extended family they said I must AMAZING because we thought he'd never get married. I am 54 and he is 65. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren combined. My parents died young. His Mother (88) feels like she is my Mom. His awesome Dad passed away a few years ago and I know that would be my husbands only regret that he didn't see us get married but he made it known that I was the one for his son. Means so much.

I’m 34 my daughter is 3... her father my ex husband left us so I’m glad that I’m the right track on focusing on what’s more important, her... this was beyond wonderful to watch. Why am I about to cry through the ENTIRE video?!?! My mother has been single for longer and she isn’t even interested in dating. My 1st husband passed when I was 30 and I thought the same as your Mom!! I wouldn’t marry and have a man interfere in the way, her father and I vowed to raise her. Until I met my husband of 10 years in June!! We both brought daughters(a 1 1/2 year apart) into the marriage and it meshed perfectly!! They were instant best friends and the rest is history!! Oh and we met at a house warming party!!
You guys have such a great relationship with your mom ❤️ I met my husband on a Metra train going to downtown Chicago. He sat next to me. My stop was coming up.. As I was getting out the seat He said I had a beautiful smile and handed me his business card and told me to contact him if I was single. Thought he was weird and I threw his card in my purse and got off the train.... I was bored on my way back on the train so I decided to text him... Fast forward 19years later we built a beautiful life with our 3 kids 😊

I put all my energy into raising my son and like your mom never thought about marriage ...I never even dated for 15 years. I was always afraid of the evil step-parent. I thought that I would get into dating when my son got into college and all my family and friends encouraged me but I was so comfortable with my life as it was.. It was an overwhelming thing and I preferred to have peace rather than someone coming in and interrupting my life. Now that my son is graduating and Covid-19 pandemic here, I seriously have a need for a lifetime companion and partner. I don't know where to start...pray for me y'all. My mom and step dad met at church . She was a 43 year old single mother- very very poor & on gov assistance w/ 3 teenage daughters that had the WORST attitude. My step dad took us as his own and honestly saved our lives from the struggle. they are still happily married 12 years later & just bought a house in a private community. Even though we went to the same church, after high school neither of us went to church often (I just experiencing life, college). We reconnected on Facebook years later, after 3mths became exclusive, then married after a few years of courtship/engagement. We have been married 6yrs, 4mths, and 1 day 🥰.
