I noticed you are using Dukes Mayonnaise. I live in NC and I grew up eating that kind and I love it, nothing is better than a fresh loaf of bread, good fresh tomato, salt and pepper, and good old Duke's. I love that kind of mayonnaise. I still eat it in my old age. Love you, Paula

Dukes is delicious, but it’s made with “seed oil.” Do your research about what soybean oil does to you.

My grandmother would save that empty mayonnaise jar. She’d add vinegar to the jar and shake to get all the mayonnaise and then add seasonings for a slaw dressing

This sounds fantastic and like such a fast,easy throw together but here's an idea, mix it all up minus they mayo until ready to serve then add your Duke's and it should still be fresh and crunchy !

Sounds like cornbread salad. Grannys used mayo tom green onion seeded cucumber bacon and crispy cornbread shreeded up. Simple filing . Yummy. Just like that salad you made.

I’m a Yankee that has lived in Florida for some years now, I grew up eating canes. And then, when I came here, I favorite Hellmann’s……… but have tried Dukes on a couple of occasions, and it just taste very sour to me and I know everybody loves it! I guess I gotta try that one again

Well Years ago Heard the hubbub on Paula Dean on TV - so I watched her a bit However - aside from using copious amounts to of rich, fattening ingredients, Once I witnessed her licking her sticky finger clean and putting them immediately in the food - it was all OVER for me with her. Just - NO.
