@@kariearly9298: I was not a fan of disco music then: The beats were too repetitious with all minor chords, saddening the sound. Compared to the weak pop music structure of the 2020s, I would be happy to seek some of the stars of yore.
@@eddyvideostar I'm not sure when this show was on but I think disco was dead by 1980 unless I'm wrong. I graduated high school in 1986. I remember Disco about 1978. Donna Summers ️ my father and I loved her. Dad would pop Donna Summers 8-track in and we would have a ball! I miss my dad.
@@ritawashere5787: Some forms of Disco continued a few years after 1978. Did dad dig (appreciate) Donna Summer during that decade? What did you think when your dad was playing _Love to Love You, Baby_ with Donna's loud bunk-up noises?
@@eddyvideostar loved it! Some of my greatest memories! My Dad loved Donna summers. Makes me want to celebrate life the way he did. We should all enjoy the moment and be kind.
It’s so interesting how much different view attractiveness!! I don’t think I’m anything special but they would definitely rate me back then as a 1-1/2 😂😂. I thought she was really pretty!
So many memories of staying up late to watch this back in the day, at least when it moved from 3 PM weekday afternoons to the overnight time slot of 12:37 AM on my local CBS station for its final season (1993/94.) I don’t know what it was about staying up late to catch it that was more appealing than doing so at 3 PM on weekday afternoons, but it just was.
Where did it air in your market, if you remember? I was born in 89 but from what I’ve been able to gather from archived listings, it started out on KMBC channel 9 (the ABC station for Kansas City) at 3 PM from the fall of 1983 to the fall of 1988. Channel 9 then moved it to 6:30 PM following the local news for the 1988/89 season and from there, it jumped over to KCTV Channel 5 (our CBS affiliate) where it aired at 3 PM from the fall of 1989 until the beginning of its final season when, like I said before, they buried it at 12:37 AM following “Real Stories of the Highway Patrol.“ some stations in the US carried reruns of it in the 1994/95 season and here in Kansas City, KSMO channel 62 (an affiliate of the short-lived UPN TV Network) was among them; channel 62 carried it at 1 AM. Also on a humorous note, I don’t know why but for some reason, I always had to have a bag of chips with me while watching it back then. I can still remember my mom or my dad making sure there were chips in the house by Friday, as Friday nights were the only nights I was allowed to stay up late to watch it; of course, the key word there is “allowed.“ I may or may not have stayed up late on other weeknights to catch it as well... Anyway if there weren’t chips in the house, they’d get some and they’d also tell me to take a nap so I could stay up late enough and we wouldn’t miss it. Oh, memories!
I appreciate how everybody 30 years ago had jobs and were on their own in their early 20s. Today they’re still on their parents health insurance and their parents basement and make what money they do have off of RU-vid as an influencer
I don't think he particularly likes tall girls, just this one because she was unusually attractive. I find him liking the petite girls much more. But who knows he's been married four times so maybe he just likes them all .😅
@Sunny DAze I guess that was just my observation with the handful that i've seen that we're tall, more attractive than some others. And perhaps also was because not only were they taller and attractive but they also looked very classy. And out of the ones that i've watched, I haven't seen that many that looked that classy as they did, including this girl. Chuck was definitely a lady's man, And i've never really done much investigating for his four marriages. Just going by what i've seen, and i've watched a lot of these episodes. He seemed to have his favorites that's a given, but some he flirted with more than others, and others he only interacted with and the difference was noticeable to me.
I agree, but I would have never dated him because of his occupation. Yikes But he's definitely a good looking guy! Very handsome. I hope you didn't stay in that occupation, it obviously has a short Shelf life. Both are just such cuties. If they're not happy together I hope they're happy Somewhere Out There now.
Gotta love a guy whose fav activities involve partying and sleeping. At least he understands getting enough of the latter allows him to do more of the former. Until all the partying finally catches up to him, that is.
this girls beautiful and she knows it lol no number rating needed. i think she does not need a nose job, our flaws and imperfections make us unique and theres no need to try to "fix" that. it looks fine. shes pretty and has a good personality. thats far more attractive than a nose job.
@@Agent.Wadsworth it would hurt tho if the surgeon isnt great. some ppl look worse after a cosmetic procedure and shes confident and pretty without doing it. she should do it if itd make herself feel better or happier not cuz other ppl want it. she seems fine without it. i mean look at lisa rinna with her botched lips or meg ryan who ruined her face. she used to be attractive but that surgeon ruined her face. sometimes its just better to love yourself. our "flaws" are what makes us unique or stand out. like ppl with a gap in their smile but they like it. 😄
I found her online. I don't know if she and David married but she has 2 kids with someone before her current husband. Morro bay calfornia. She looks the same...i think she may have had a nose job. I think i found him also, he hasnt faired as well as she has... he is a much bigger guy now. He doesn't have a much on his facebook a she does.
Sometimes I can find the contestants, but how did you find them?? She has the most common last name and I only saw his first name listed. I live near Morro Bay and used that in the search, but nothing popped up.
After watching several of these shows, I've determined women are as or more shallow then men. A guy can be nice, have himself put together, mature etc. But the women always choose the best looking guy no matter how big of a jerk he is, how stupid he is, it doesn't matter.
@@ADDrecords The girl who thought she was a seven. Five seem like a very smart lady. Sounds like she had a playful side. She was awesome the guy seems pretty cool too. I hope I did end up together permanently
Not so deep down, 95% of guys want to snag the top 3% most attractive young women to show off like trophies. Read over old personal ads---nearly every heterosexual male of any age made specific mention of a woman's body type. Scroll through any dating app's photos: we all base our decision on looks, assuming what we see is exactly what we'll get in person.....and we know that's not true. Lori Gottlieb's Marry Him should be mandatory reading for every late teen female.....I wish it had been around in my earlier dating years and that I'd had the maturity to actually listen to her advice.
@@ADDrecords You fit the "shallow" definition that this guy was talking about. I bet you're wondering what kind of car I drive. And how many "followers" I have.
Men weren’t such animals back then like a woman stripped herself naked and threw herself at him and he was embarrassed for them both! People had reappear for themselves and freely gave that respect back! Things have gotten so messy.
Dates have a "happy ending". Lol. I use to watch this show and was young in my profession of marketing/advertising, so this went right over my head back then lol.
David was a good guy, but he was more like the bad-boy type, where later on I'm sure that April broke up with him for the good-man type. Really tough for a male exotic dancer to change that much. Maybe when he was in his early 40s, but not in his early 30s
Why are all the guys on this show kind of weird. They show the worst part of their tape, and if its not the worst part of their tape, I shudder to think what was worse. The guys tape snippets are the worst.
Is she blind! I think the bulk of us would kill for her body! She is beautiful. I get the insecurity about the nose. I hated my nose, got a nose job, now I hate my teeth! We will never be happy
When I watched LC back in the day, I seem to remember just about every episode would have a positive date and a complete disaster date. I enjoyed the bad date episodes. Have any of those been posted?
I believe they're in their late 50s. They probably had kids after 30. Their oldest children would not even be 30 yet. Depends how their life turned out. Trash makes babies early.
